Obsession vs. Possession

"I only read 3 chapters of this story yet it's giving me different emotions already. The writer's perspective is very commendable and as well as the story itself. It is made of a very wide sense of imagination. It is a must-read story/. I love the plot and how the story turns. Very commendable!"

Promising premise!

" I give blunt and straightforward reviews, so sorry If you feel demotivated by it. But it's an constructive feedback. I will try to be as nice as possible. Here is my feedback and review of your story - I would like to say that the story have potential. I usually read stories which follow 1st person perspective or 3rd person perspective. This story have 3rd person perspective. For these kinds of stories I prefer 1st person. But again it's only my opinion and people may prefer this style more. If we talk about technicality, then author need to focus more on- show, don't tell. The setting details are minimal but they do the work. But I would recommend adding some vivid setting details to immerse the readers in. i haven't noticed any big grammar mistakes. If we talk about plot, then it is definitely interesting. The tension that author created in the first chapter is really intriguing. First chapter had a great hook, but somehow it felt rushed, I mean first the protagonist thinking about past, then on a coffee shop and then walking on the road. Transition could be smooth between scenes. The pacing is jarring- sometimes slow, sometimes fast. I lost interest on the story after chapter 2. If I was a normal reader I would have left it at that, but I tried to read till chapter 3. I am really sorry to say but there is nothing in the story that interests me. Even after having interesting premise the story falls back in it's execution. But then again maybe this is not the kind of story I am interested in. There are many peoples out there who like stories of these types, so i am sure you will find your audience. Being an non native English speaker, your writing skills are good. You just need to improve some things. All the best."

Could Use Some Improvement

"Saying this with genuine love and care for literature and authors, I loved the possibility of a young woman fighting for her freedom and leaving behind the grasp of someone who hurt her, but the point of her being a strong character is immediately blurred by this new male character whose designated purpose was to 'save' or 'help' her. The description was a bit rushed, there's rarely much explanation of Jasmine's background except that she kept on fleeing. In order for readers to be more engaged with her motive and root for her, we have to be aware of what made her do the biggest plot mover in the story in the first place. And please don't use AI in the pictures. "
