Summary
HALEN I've always enjoyed playing uncle to Copper and Penny's twins. So, when Penny asks me to take Jayla to the dentist for her, I agree without hesitation. But when I finish dropping Jayla off at school after her appointment, I'm not expecting the blonde bombshell in front of me to be crying her eyes out as she loads her things into her car. She's just been fired from her job as a teacher for helping a student. I want to make her mine; her selflessness and her fiery personality call out to me. But first, I've got to help the little boy she lost her job trying to save. Looks like I'm about to become a dad. ~*~*~ GENESIS Halen and I might as well be polar opposites. It's like I'm oil, and he's fire. But instead of harming me and burning me up, his lethal warmth makes me feel safe and protected. He's a monster when he wants to be, but I'm not afraid of him. He gets on my nerves like no other, but it's somehow endearing. And I'm fighting my attraction to him every step of the way. But when he surprises me with his custody of Randall, the boy I'd lost my job trying to protect, every bit of ice within my soul melts for him. Halen may be lawless, but he's one of the good guys. Now, only one problem remains. Am I strong enough to give this man the power to hurt me?
