Chapter 1

Editors note- sorry if this is bad, its my first story plus its an actual and I barely filled in the gaps in the logic, anyways enjoy.

It was a beautiful sunny evening, the birds were chirping, the kids were running around aimlessly playing in their own worlds and it was a memorable day for some others as it was their wedding and as people at weddings do, they were crowding the bride and the groom like a swarm of bees crowding a queen bee. With the main crowd of people outside the banquet, there was a secondary crowd of guys who were busy talking to each other and having a good time and lastly there was one person slightly far from the group, he was catching up to the rest of the people, more the second group than the first. He waved at them signaling his arrival and they looked back, a few of them waved yes, and he took that as a sign of yes. As he was walking towards them his eyes fell on a flower in a field of grass but knowing himself he left the flower and continued walking till he reached them, as soon as he did, a gust of wind flew over his head waving his hair, he smiled at the wind and looked a bit further to see a giant landmass full of dense dark trees, he looked in awe of the trees for he lived in a metropolitan city and hadn’t seen many forests. He realized this might be his only chance to see a forest he quickly grabbed his phone and as he put his camera at the right angle, every single person in the crowd decided to crowd up the view for a group photo because they thought the view was nice, Shaheer reasonably annoyed at this, decided to go else where to capture the scenic beauty of the forest. He went to the side, and he noticed a staircase which was at least as big as the front of a tank, the staircases were leading down to something, they turned and were tall enough where you could not just see what on down there plus it was getting dark. His curiosity got the best of him, and he walked down the steps, the sun was setting on him, the wind rustling the flora. Shaheer reached the end of the stairs to a poorly lit, well maintained and clean road spanning over the length of a few trucks back-to-back, there were trees taller than a few meters with densely packed thick dark leaves, he walked along this peaceful road with no thoughts in his mind and suddenly the road turned, Shaheer kept walking and looked over to his left to a magnificent gate with made of some 1800s themed bricks, it was to dark to see what it led to, so he kept walking one step at a time to see the road turning and at the end of it he saw a mansion of the same theme. He remembered that it was already dark and people might be waiting for him, so he quickly sprinted across the road to reach the mansion and decided it was enough and ran back as fast as he could, as soon as he got back he remembered his brother told him not to go down there, he smiled a little at that and looked at the stairs which he came from. He did not notice at first, but the stairs were covered in moss and vines with small wildlife scattered across, and as soon as he took his first step, he woke up in his bed with no memory of what happened.
