Summary

Even with that, they try their hardest to do what is right and be good men in a world that is so dark. So Raven doesn't actually understand why Iris Cooper hold such disdain for him when he's done nothing to her but be nice. To others she's nice and considerate, to him it feels like she's ready to claw his eyes out. She's the most frustrating person he's ever met and sometimes he just wants to wring her pretty little neck. Iris on the other hand knows that people who look like Raven, handsome, sophisticated, well-mannered are liars. Her up bringing showed her this. She hates that she finds him attractive. She just doesn't trust that he's what he presents. Both hope that the murder case they are working on will be solved quickly for both their sakes and the victims. Sometimes when you are so close to something you have to take a step back to see the truth. __ This is book 6 in the series.
