Chapter One

Damon Salvatore life has been always dark. He was the bad boy of Mystic Falls, but when he lost his mo, he just fell apart. The only person that was there for him was Elena Gilbert, his best friend. One night changed everything, when Damon and Stefan came home, their father Giuseppe starting beating both Stefan and Damon, but he beats Damon everyday, not Stefan and it changed his life forever.

Ever since Giuseppe started beating Damon, he started drifting away from everyone and he wishes he could tell someone, but he can’t because Giuseppe would hurt everyone Damon cares about, and that’s why he’s drifting away from Stefan, Elena, Caroline, Klaus, and Rebekah. He thinks it’s the best way to keep it a secret because Damon thinks he’s damaged and that he will stay that way and how much Giuseppe has abused him and he doesn’t care that he does it.

Stefan never gets abused anymore and he hopes to tell someone about being abused. Damon knows it’s a bad idea, if he does tell anyone and Stefan knows Damon is probably right about it because if he does it will turn deadly, when their father is in their life.

Elena has always cared about Damon, because they have been best friends for seventeen years. They would always joke around with each other, tell each other everything, be there for each other and everyone knows, but Damon and Elena they are in love with each other.

Ever since Damon has been drifting away from Elena, he’s been cold towards her and he’s getting into fights and doing drugs. Elena will do anything for him; even find the truth, because nothing will stop her when it comes to Damon.]

September 20, 2015

Damon just woke up, he gets out of bed and gets into the shower, when the water hits his skin, and he winces because he has bruises all over his body. The scars are from Damon cutting himself; he can’t take the pain because he’s never done anything to derive any of this. He hasn’t told anyone about it, and he plan to keep it that way.

Then, five minutes later, Damon gets out of the shower and grabs a black towel and dries himself and wraps it around his waist, then walks into his bedroom. Damon takes off the black towel, when he goes by his dresser and grabs black boxers and slides them on. He goes down a drawer and grabs his black jeans and puts them on with his belt. Then he goes into his closet and grabs a black V-neck of many he has. He grabs his black shoes and puts them on ties them. He grabs his leather jacket that is hanging up and put it on and grabs his bag and walks out of his room and goes downstairs. He hopes not to see Giuseppe, because he doesn’t want to get physically hurt, but he knows he’s already is and what could make it worse? Nothing, at this point in his life could make it better.

Damon comes downstairs and he sees Giuseppe and his throat goes dry and that happens amon every time he sees him. Damon enters the kitchen, Giuseppe smirks, everytime he fid he was going to hurt Damon and he was drunk. Giuseppe stands up and walks right by Damon and punches him right in the face, ” Thanks for being a disappointment. ” Then he walks put if the room, Damon feels like ending his life half of time because no one cares about him, maybe today will be that day, Damon though and got in his car and went to school.

When he gets to school he sees Elena and he sighs. He misses her and he wishes he could do something about it, but he knows he can’t and she won’t miss him. He walks right pass her without a care in the world. When Damon gets to his locker and he opens it and he sees a picture of Elena and him. He sighs, then he closes his locker and he comes face to face with Elena and he knew she wanted answer maybe it was time. He has been being abused for four years, now. Damon looks at her and sighs, we should talk.” He says and she nods with agreeing with him.

Chapter Two

Damon and Elena are sitting at their special spot outside. They have been in silence for at least five minutes, Damon wants to tell her with all of his heart, but another part of him is thinking if he should lie? Damon finally exhales. After ten minutes of thinking,” Elena, I think maybe our friendship should be over.” He says, while he said that he felt like his heart was breaking. When he said that he noticed Elena’s eyes start to water, he knew he was hurting her. It was for her not getting more hurt because of his dad. Maybe Elena and Damon needed a break. She can have normal without him. Damon knew she would find a better best friend. Damon would be alone and no one would care about him. Elena turned to look at him and he saw that she was crying, “If that’s what you want.” She said, while getting up and walking back to the school. They both knew that it was going to be the end of their friendship. No more laughs or tickle wars, food fights, watching movies, smoothies and hugging. Damon and Elena both are in pain, how will they get through this?

The whole day felt like tension, even Stefan, Rebekah and Klaus felt it. Everyone knew what happened, which sucks living in a small town. Damon hates his father even more than he did before. He never thought he would lose Elena; they have been best friends for seventeen years. They always found their way back to each other, but will they this time?

5 hours later, its 9th period, Damon and Elena have all the same classes together. They both were in pain. Elena is going to Damon after school to figure it out. Damon never thought he meet someone like Elena, and he was glad they met, but he didn’t want to lose her. He hopes one day, they will find their way back to each other, because he can’t live without Elena Marie Gilbert.

He looks over at the next table and he sees Elena writing and he smiles. He knows she wants to be a writer and she always loved to write. He sees her look at him and they both didn’t know until they both were gazing into each others eyes. They were smiling at each other. They both realized, they have feelings for each other more than friendship. They’ve had feelings for each other since they were little. Damon knows now he is going to tell her today after school and he hopes she will forgive him. Damon gets home and he sees a note on the counter and says

Off on a business trip, I will be gone for three months don’t mess up the place or you’ll be in trouble.

Giuseppe

Damon never thought today was going to be a good day. He hopes. He can change everything he has done that he regrets. He walks into the bedroom and he walks by his nightstand and there’s a picture of him and Elena. They are lying on his bed and they are laughing. Damon smiles, He loved that moment, Damon was making fun of her and she hit him. Then all of sudden, they both started laughing about it. He hears a knock on. His bedroom door and he walks up to the door and answers the door. He sees Elena and he was glad she was right there.

Chapter three

Damon clears his throat and Elena smiles, “Can I come in?” She asks, “Yeah, sure” Damon says, opening the door wide. She walks in and she puts the bag on the bed. Then, she turns and looks at him, “Tell me Damon. . .” She says, then crossing her arms against her chest and he nods. They both sit on the bed. Damon knew this confession was going to change everything, “It was after my mom’s funeral.”

Damon is twelve and he walks in the house after his mom, Lilly’s funeral. Damon couldn’t believe she is gone. He loved his mom, so much; she was the closest person in his life. He walks into his house and sees Giuseppe drinking and he sees the bottle is almost gone. He walks in the living room and he goes by his dad and he is concerned about him, “Dad are you, okay?” He asks, then Giuseppe eyes are like ice. He’s, angry and he’s glaring at him. He grabs the bottle and smashes it against the wall and Damon finches. Giuseppe walks up to him but he gets closer to him and throws him against the wall and Damon falls on the ground. Giuseppe walks up to him and he starts kicking his stomach and Damon groans, “Stop it Dad!” Damon yells. He starts punching Damon. There is blood coming from his nose and mouth. Giuseppe kneels down and goes right at Damon’s face, “I’m done being the nice father, now I’m going to be your worst nightmare, and you deserve everything that you are getting until you die.” He smirks, and then he walks out of the house.

After that night, Giuseppe would keep abusing Damon, because he wish Damon was never born. He made him feel like no one wanted him and his life has been a nightmare, Giuseppe made sure of that.

Damon looks at Elena and he sees that she’s in shock. She couldn’t believe this was happening to her best friend and she knew she didn’t know. She touches his arm and he flinches and she looks at him, “Take off your shirt.” She says. Then he smirks. “You want a show?” He asks, wiggling his eyebrows and she hides her smile, “Take off your shirt.” He huffs, “Fine.” Then he takes off his black V-neck and he turns towards Elena. Elena gasps, because she sees all his bruises, scars, and scratches. You could tell that he cut himself. Damon looks down and Elena runs a hand all over his scars and he looks at her, “Damon, why didn’t you tell me?” She asks, “I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want him to hurt you. I was afraid about telling you. Also that’s why I kept pushing you away and I don’t want to lose you.” He says, putting his hand on her face, she smiles at him, “You won’t lose me Damon, we’re best friends.” She hugs him tightly and he hugs her back. He knew she was right, but he wished they were more. They pull away from the hug, they look into each other’s eyes and Damon starts to lean in and they both hear a creak from the door and they see Stefan opening the door. They stand there awkwardly, “What Stefan?” Damon asks. Elena looks at Damon and he looks away, “I was just telling you that I’m spending the night at Matt’s.′ Stefan says, and Damon nods his head. Then, Stefan goes to Matt’s house and he wished Damon would tell Elena that he’s in love with her, it’s been seventeen years, when will Damon admit it, before she dates Someone new?

Damon and Elena are laying in his bed watching. They haven’t talked since the almost kiss, but they keep looking at each other. When Damon or Elena would catch other, they would look away. Its seven o’clock now and Damon and Elena haven’t talked since four o’clock. Damon wants to know how Elena feels about him, but he’s afraid to open up. Elena doesn’t want to ask him, because she doesn’t want to destroy their friendship. Damon sighs, “Elena are you okay?” He asks, and he looks at Elena and she smiles at him, “Yes, Damon is there anything you want to tell me?” She asks. While waits to see if Damon has feelings for her, “No, I’m just glad that o have my best friend.” He says and she hugs him and he hugs her back. They both upset about not admitting it. They pull away from the hug. Elena looks at him and smiles, “I should go.”She says, “Okay, I’ll walk you out.” He says, she grabs her bag and they go downstairs.

They walk downstairs and get to the front door. Damon holds the door open and she smiles, “See you tomorrow when you pick me up in the morning?” She asks, “Definitely” He says. She walks out of the door and he sighs, he wished he had told her how he felt. He runs outside and sees her car is gone. He grabs his car keys and goes to Elena’s house.

When Elena gets home, she walks into house and she sees her mom, Miranda and her dad, Grayson and her brother, Jeremy. They are sitting on the couch watching a movie and they look up and see Elena, “Hey how was Damon?” They ask. Then tears start coming out of her eyes. Miranda walks up to her and hugs her, while she’s sobbing, “Shh, its okay baby.” She says, but she keeps crying and they hear a knock on the door. Miranda pulls away from Elena. Miranda answer the door and sees Jake, Elena’s ex boyfriend. They are both shocked to see him, because they thought he moved, but now he’s back. “Can I come in?” He asks, Miranda nods,” Sure.” He walks in and smiles and walks up to Elena. She is nervous, because Elena broke up with him when she starts getting close to Damon. He grabs Elena’s hand, “Elena I still love you and I want to be with you, will you give me another chance?” When Jake asked Damon enters the living room. She looks up and sees Damon and Elena realized she had to chose between her best friend or her past,” Jake can I think about it?” She asks, and he nods and leaves. Damon walks up to Elena, “Elena I just wanted to tell you that I love you, more than a friend and I always will.” He says. He walks out of the house and Elena smiles and runs after him.

Then, she walks out if the house and it starts raining. Elena sees Damon towards his car and she yells, “Damon!!!” He turns and looks and sees her standing in the middle of the driveway and he walks up to her,” Elena, I just wanted to tell you how I felt. I know you aren’t over Jake. She gives him a dumb look and he looks confused, “Damon we have been best friends for seventeen years. We’ve had our ups and downs. How can you not know when I feel something more than a friendship? I do. I’m in love with you, Damon Salvatore. “She says, he smiles and he grabs her face and kisses her deeply and depends it. When they start kissing it started pouring and they pull away. Look into each other eyes and they keep kissing. They loved this moment, it was their favorite.

Chapter Four

September 21, 2015 (Thursday)

Elena opens her eyes and she hears snoring through her phone. She grabs her phone and sees that her and Damon fell asleep, talking on the phone. She smiles. She can’t believe they are finally together. She sighs happily. “Damon, Damon” she repeats and he wakes up and he grabs his phone, “Well apparently we couldn’t stay away from each other.” He says, smirking and he hears her giggle and he loves her laugh, “I guess not. Damon are we official?” She asks, nervously and he smiles real wide. “Absolutely, Elena I’m all in and tonight is our officially first date.” Damon says and they were overjoyed with happiness, they have been waiting for seventeen years and now they don’t have to, it’s their time.

Finally Damon gets out of bed and he gets in the shower. Five minutes later. He gets out of the shower and he was whistling, walking into his bedroom with a black towel around his waist. When he gets to his dresser and he gets his black boxer and puts them on. He goes his jeans dresser and pulls out his black jeans and he pulls them on. He goes by his closet and he grabs a dark blue V-neck and he puts it on. He puts his shoes on and he goes by his nightstand. He sees the necklace his mother gave him, it’s heart and it has a key. He puts it a black box, then puts in his black jean. His phone vibrates and Damon grabs his phone and he sees a text from Elena. Elena: Missing you like crazy! <3. He chuckles. He grabs his bag and he gets in his car and drives to Elena’s house.

Elena is in her bedroom looking for something to wear. She is wearing a lace blue bra and underwear. She finds a light blue halter top, and a black skirt, black heels, and then she gets dressed. She smiles, she looks like she is wearing a dress. Then she grabs her black sweater and buttons up her sweater up. She goes over jewelry section. She finds blue hoops and contacts hoops in her ears. Then, she goes to her necklace section and she finds her E necklace that Damon gave her, three years ago. The necklace has little diamonds and blue. She loves the necklace, but she hates when she has to take it off. She grabs her bag and her phone and goes downstairs. When, she strolls in the kitchen. She goes by her fridge and opens the door and grabs the container of apple juice and when she closes it. She sees Damon smirking at her, “Did I scare you?” He asks, then she drops the container and jumps in his arms and he chuckles. He kisses her deeply and she kisses her back, while running her fingers through his smooth black hair that goes up to his neck and he roams his hands on her body. They pull away a little “You’re so sexy, I love you, and Elena “He says. She smile real wide, “I love you Damon and your lips.” He chuckles. She grabs the back of his neck and was about to kiss him, “I wouldn’t do that if i were you, because in your case you’ll break something else.” Her mom says, while a hand on her hip. Elena puts her face in Damon’s chest, who is amused “I know you’re in love, but you shouldn’t break something.” Miranda says. She gives Elena a stern look and Damon starts laugh “Now clean this up and go to school.” She says, while laughing then we both realize she was messing with us the entire time. Elena picks up the glass and throws it away. Elena walks up to her up to her mom and hugs her and Miranda hugs her back. “I love you, Elena” Miranda says, “I love you, to” Miranda kisses her on the cheek. Then Elena grabs her bag and goes by Damon and their fingers collide. They go outside and go inside his car. Damon kisses her cheek, “I love you so much” He says. She smiles real wide and kisses him. They both knew it was going to be a good day.

Damon pulls up to his spot. They both get out of the car, when they see Stefan, Rebekah, and Klaus standing by Stefan’s car. They are shocked to see Damon and Elena talking because yesterday they wanted to kill each other. Damon grabs Elena’s face and she kisses him back passionate. They all hear cheering and see all their friends and they both realized, they have strange friend, but they are glad they are in their life. Damon and Elena didn’t pay attention in any of their classes. They were glad the day was over; they just wanted it to be after school. Now it was and now they can have their date and the most amazing time Elena is walking out of the building and she sees Damon leaning runs up to him and jumps in his arms. He chuckles, “you missed me a lot didn’t you?” He asks and she smacks his chest, “What was that for?” He asks, “Being ass” She glares at him and he kisses her and she kisses him back. They pull away, “Ready for our date?” He asks and she nods while smiling. “What are we doing on our date?” She asks and he starts to grin, “We are going to have a picnic and then the falls and buy the way bring a bathing suite.” She knew tonight was going to be perfect and no one could ruin it.

Damon pulls up to her house so she can get her bathing suite and a bag and a chain for Damon, and his favorite dessert, which Lorraine Pascale’s milk chocolate & Raspberry swirl cheesecake. She made this morning and she can’t wait for his reaction. She goes upstairs and grabs her light blue bathing suite, which is a bikini. She runs out of the door and she sees Damon has changed into black tank top and black shorts and he has a smile on his face “You ready?” She nods. They both get in the car and Damon drives to the falls.

When they get to the falls, they get out of the car and Elena puts a blanket on the ground. Damon brought a chicken casserole and he brought fruit water, and strawberries. She looks shocked, “All our favorites, but one more thing” He gives her a confused look and she takes out the dessert and he smiles at her “I can’t believe you remember my favorite dessert and I can’t believe you made it” He smiles at and she smiles back. “I always remember because we are best friends, but boyfriend and girlfriend.” He cups her face and kisses her with passion and she kisses him back.

They finished eating and Elena gets her bathing suite and goes in Damon’s car to change. She grabs her gift for Damon and gets out of the car and walks up to Damon and sees that he is holding a black box “what’s that?” She asks and he opens the box and when she sees the necklace she is speechless. He takes it out of the box and Elena moves her hair and he puts it around her neck and he clasps it. “There you go and now you have the key to my heart.” She smiles and gives him a black box and he opens it and it’s a sliver chain that has a sliver cross and he smiles at her and he puts it on. “I love it” Damon takes off his shirt and she pushes him in the water. He grabs her hand and she goes with him. When, they get out of the water. “I can’t believe you did that. “She says and he starts laughing. “Karma a bitch, baby” She kisses him and he kisses her back. Two hours later, Damon pulls up to Elena’s house and he smiles “I had amazing time” He says and she smiles real wide “So did I and I know it always be that way” He kisses her cheek. He drives home and Elena goes inside and she couldn’t stop grinning .

Damon walks inside. He stops when sees his dad and he gulps “did you really believe that note wow you are shallow boy and you won’t survive before your senior year.” Giuseppe says and he leaves Damon speechless.

Chapter Five

Two months later, Damon has been lying to Elena about his dad because he doesn’t want to lie to her. He has to for her protection and he will protect, until someone ends his life, but he will try even in deal.

December 20, 2015

Damon comes late in school and he sees Elena at her locker and he walks up to her. When she sees him “Hey, you’re late again?” She asks, and he sighs. “I’m not in the mood for being judged, I just need to tell you something tonight.” Damon says and she nods and he leaves school. Which makes Elena want to know why Damon has been pulling away from her? She did nothing to him. She would be depressed if she lost him for good

After school, she gets in her car and drives to Damon’s house and she knocks on the door. Damon answers the door in less than five seconds “Come in “She comes in and they go up to his bedroom. His dad left for a business trip and he will be back tomorrow. He grabs her hand when they enter his bedroom and they sit on the bed. “Elena two months ago, my dad came back. He said I won’t live until my senior year and it made me think that he would do anything to ruin my life. You are the most important thing in my life. I can’t lose you.” He says and she holds his face “you won’t lose me, no matter what.” she says and he hugs her, “I’m sorry, I lied to you.” He says and she rubs his back. “You did it because you wanted to protect me.” He looks at her and kisses her deeply. She puts her arms around his neck and they fall on the bed and he is on top of her and she is laying her head on his pillow. He keeps kissing her and she wraps her legs around his waist and Elena pulls away “I’m ready ” she says. Damon’s eyes widen “Are you sure?” He asks and she nods. “More than ever.” she says and he smiles and he takes off his shirt and he takes off his jeans and her shirt. He kisses her deeply and she kisses him back and he roams his hands on her body. She felt sparks every time he touched and she felt butterflies. He looks in his drawer and finds a condom and puts it on and he enters her and she moans and she looks at him and smiles and he smiles back. They press their foreheads together and their noses touch “I love you so, Elena” Damon says and she smiles “i love you will all my heart.” she says and he wraps his arms around her and they enjoyed this moment for a while. They believed they wouldn’t have a lot of these moments.

Elena wakes up and turns and sees that Damon I sleeping and she starts gazing at him and he starts her a grin “it’s rude to stare, baby ” Damon says with his eyes closed. She smiles, “I’m not staring, I’m gazing” She smiles real wide, “it’s weird, baby” He says, with his eyes open now. She giggles. “It’s romantic” she says. Elena looks at the time and she hates it that they had to get ready for school. “We should get up.” She said and Damon groans. ’We should skip and have a great day together and go to the falls?” He asks smiling at her and she knew she could never win, “Fine, you win this time.” She says getting out of bed. You just hear a chuckle from him; she knew she would always love him.

Later the day, Damon just dropped Elena off around Nine-Thirty. Damon just pulled up to his house and he walks into his house and he sees Giuseppe, drinking a glass of bourbon and when he sees Damon, he smashes the glass on the wall. Damon jumps and Giuseppe walks right up to Damon and he punches him and he keeps punching him, “Stop it!” Damon says “Never, hope you enjoyed the last day on this Earth.” He holds up the gun and he was about to shoot him. Damon hears a gasp and they both look and see Elena. “Elena go!” He screams. She shakes her head and Damon gets up. Then Giuseppe shoots Damon in the back, “Congrats Elena you’ll be forever alone.” Then he rushes out of the house and leaves Elena with a dying Damon. She puts him on her lap and she grabs her phone and calls the police, “Please come to Salvatore boarding house, now my boyfriend has been shot.” She says, while crying “We are on our way” They hang up. And she turns her face to Damon “Please stay with me” She says, and he grabs her hand “I will always love you; just remember that” he says, while closing his eyes. “Don’t close your eyes!” She says while crying. She holds on to him for dear life. She never thought she would lose him. The ambulance comes and takes Damon to the hospital. Elena rushes to the hospital It didn’t take her at least five minutes to get there and she goes to in the waiting room and wait for Damon. She knows he can make it because Damon Salvatore always survives, no matter what.

It’s been five hours later, she is still waiting and the doctor comes up to her. Dr. Bell sits next to her “Elena Gilbert, he made it, but we think it’s best if he moves to somewhere else. I’m very sorry. You can go and say goodbye. The doctor says and he walks away. Elena starts crying. Elena looks at her picture of her and Damon and she starts crying. Five minutes later, she finally calms down and goes into his room. She walks into his room and when he sees her he smiles at her. Elena sits next to him and he grabs her hand “I’m okay and now everything can be better.” He said smiling and Elena frowns “The Doctor just told me they are moving you so you can be safe.” she says while crying and he touches her face and wipes her tears “I’m not going Elena. No one can take me away from you.” He says and she sighs. “I think you should. I think you should move on, you deserve a better life. “She says, while wiping her tears away. Once she said that, she knew she just broke his heart. Damon shakes his head “Elena I always want you, no one else and I don’t care we belong together.” He says. Elena sighs, “Maybe it’s for the best Damon, I love you, but when you love someone you have to let them go.” She lets go of his hand and walks out of the room and drives home.

When she gets home and she parks her car and walks inside. When she walks in, she discovers, no one is home and she drops her bag and slides on the ground crying her heart out. She hears her phone go off and she grabs it and sees it’s from Giuseppe. Giuseppe: Thank you for moving my son away and breaking him, now it’s easier for me to end his life and now you’ll be next.

Chapter Six

It’s been a week since Elena got a text from Giuseppe and she is freaking out and Damon hasn’t tried to text her and she thinks he has moved on from her and it makes her really depressed because she never thought this would be happening, he almost died and now they aren’t together. Elena didn’t know where he lived and she thought he live in Egypt or something. Damon lived in another town it was two hours away. Stefan and Caroline didn’t tell Elena because he needs to move on from Mystic Falls and they would do anything.

Elena is class and she is bored out of her mind. She hasn’t been herself since Damon and Stefan have left and she is feeling scared because Giuseppe she knows she is on his list next. Her phone goes off and it’s from Stefan. Stefan: Please come in RiverWood, Damon is mess and i know you are mess to, Caroline has been a mess she is telling me everything. Elena sighs and texts back. Elena: I’ll be there at lunch. Elena sighs. Elena knew Damon and her had to talk or solve what was going between them or what would happen?

Elena gets out of the car and she is at Damon and Elena’s house. She gets out of the car and knocks on the door and Damon opens the door. When he sees Elena, his eyes widen and Elena standing there awkwardly, Damon grabs Elena pulls her close, “I missed you, so much. What are you doing here, though?” He asks, more confused, while pulling away from the hug. Elena looks in his eyes and she starts to tear up and he wipes them “Damon I should be staying away from you. “Elena says. Damon gives her, what the heck, look. He grabs her hand, “Then why did you come here? Tell me to move on, really? I’m not moving on because you are the only person I want to be with. Why are you pushing me away, after everything we’ve been through?” He asks. Elena starts crying, “I’m doing this because I love you and I don’t want to hurt you, anymore and you should move on, I’m sorry.” Elena says, while have tears rolling down her cheeks. He runs his fingers through his hair “I guess this is it, then Goodbye, Elena.” He says and he walks back inside. Once he walks inside, he felt is heartbroken and it will never be the same.

Later that day, Damon is at the bar and he is wasted. A redhead girl is checking him out and he is drinking away like no tomorrow and the redhead walks up to him and sits on the nest stool, “Hey, your Damon right?” She asks and Damon doesn’t know who she knows his name, but he feels creeped out, “Yes I am, but how do you know my name?” He asks. She starts smiling at him, “I know everything, when people move that’s my job, to know. I’m Sage.” He nods. Sage could tell something was off about him, “Are you okay?” She asks touching his arm. Damon looks at her hand when, she touches him, “My girlfriend broke up with me to keep me safe and I feel miserable because she wants me to get over her and I don’t want to get over her.” He says, while refiling his glass and she looks at him, “Maybe you don’t need to get over, you need a distraction, and I could be that person.” She smirks and he looks over at her, “Maybe your right.” She smiles at him.

Two hours later, Damon enters his bedroom while kissing Sage and they both fall on the bed. Damon starts kissing her neck and she moans, “Mm, Damon. I don’t know what your girlfriend was thinking.” He smirks and he rips off her dress and he takes off all his clothes and he kissing her hungrily. She puts her legs around his waist and he is pulling her close, “Oh god, mm keep going.” she says while Damon kissing every part of her body. He looks at her, he starts sucking on her neck and she moans really loud and he hears his phone go off, “Please ignore it.” He knew this person wasn’t worth it. He enters her slowly and she rubs against him and he groans. Damon knew this was going to be a great distraction, relationship. I start kissing your neck again and he forms a hickey. Sage gasp, “Damon...” she says, while grabbing his ass and he groans, “Sage...” He says while panting and Sage smiles and she knew he was going to hers soon.

While Damon and Sage were having their kind of fun Elena was broken. Elena didn’t want to hurt him or end it but she had, she grabs her phone and calls Damon. She hears it ringing, until it goes to voicemail and she sigh, “Hey Damon, I know you probably don’t want to talk to me since today, but I do love you and I hope one day we will be together. “She smiles and hangs up the phone and then she gets a text and she grabs her phone. Her heart drops when she sees a text from Giuseppe .

Giuseppe shows her a picture of Sage and Damon kissing at the bar and then another one in his room. Elena couldn’t believe he moved on from her, she never thought this would happen and now it came to conclusion that she has to move on now. The real big question, who will help her get over Damon?

Two month later, a lot has changed Damon is still having fun with Sage and Elena is dating Klaus and she is really happy. Damon is also really happy with Sage. The real question are they going to be into a relationship or will they just have distraction relationship?

Damon is getting ready to surprise with Sage and his phone goes off and he grabs it and sees a text from Elena. He gulps.

Elena: Can we talk?

Damon: Why? I’m done with this drama Elena, you moved on and I moved on, we should just be friends and you made your choice. Bye Elena, talk to you at the wedding.

Damon and Elena found out that her aunt Jenna was marrying their history teacher and they were really happy for the, but Damon and Elena don’t want to see each other that’s the whole problem.

Damon is putting roses everywhere in his bedroom and candles because tonight is going to be another distraction. Tomorrow is going to ask sage out and he knows she has been waiting for him to tell her how he feels about her. He is all ready and he hears his bedroom open and he turns and sees she’s wearing black skinny jeans and a lacy tank top and he smiles at her “Hey, I missed you” he says smiling and she walks right up to him, “I missed you to, I also missed this.” He gives her a weird look and she grabs his face and smashes his lips against her and he picks her up and she wraps her legs around his waist and his hands roam on her body. She moans and he throws off her top and they fall on the bed and roses everywhere on the bed, “Damon, we need to talk.′ She says and he looks at her and he nods, “What is it?” He asks. “When we go to the wedding, Elena isn’t going to give me death glares or hurt me or something?” She asks and he shakes his head, “Don’t worry, we will be by each other the entire time. Sage I was wondering, if you wanted to be by girlfriend?” He asks and she smiles real wide, “Yes, Damon I would love to be.” Damon knew this was going to be a great choice, he’s glad he found someone who believes in him.

Someone knocks on his front door and he grabs his shorts and goes downstairs and it reveals, Klaus, “What are you doing here?” He asks. Klaus sighs, “Look I need tell you something about Elena.” Damon sighs, because he really wasn’t in the mood for this right now, since his girlfriend was upstairs, “What about your girlfriend?” Damon asks, “Did you know Giuseppe has been threatening her and that’s why she broke up with you.” Klaus finally says and Damon just felt like this moment had changed forever and now he had to talk to her more than ever.

Damon calls Elena and she answers it, “Hey, what’s up?” she asks and he sighs, “Elena why didn’t you tell me about my father and that’s why we broke up? He asks and he can hear her sigh, ” I didn’t tell you because he would’ve killed us and I realized we both moved on, so we should just be friends and forget we ever dated, bye Damon.” she hangs and Damon knew this affected them more than they realized.

Two weeks later, Damon and Stage are so happy and in love, but Elena and Klaus broke up because she realized she’s not over Damon and Klaus understands that and he hopes she can move on. Today was the wedding and Elena was nervous to see Damon and because her date was Stefan and his date was Sage. Damon is the best man and Elena is the maid of honor and they are glad they chose them, but are kind of having problems seeing each other.

Elena is organizing the wedding and she hears someone say her name and she turns and sees Damon and her eyes wide, “I have to go.” she hurries off to Jenna’s room and when she walked and is breathing heavy. Jenna, and Rebekah are looking at her weird, ” Elena did you see Damon?” she asks and she nods and Rebekah hugs her and everyone knew she wasn’t over him, but the real is question is he over her?

Two hours later, Jenna and Rick are married and they are so happy and Elena is dancing with Stefan. Her eyes catch Damon and Sage, which makes her question how she fell for him, “I have to go, Stefan.” He nods. She leaves and someone covers her mouth and she looks and sees Giuseppe. She gasp, “What are you doing here?” She asks and he smirks, “I told you if you ever saw him again and he holds out his gun and he was about to shoot her and then someone smacks him on the head and he gets knocked out and she looks and sees Damon and she starts to cry and he hugs her ,” I’m sorry, Elena and I sorry that I hurt you , but we need to stay away from each other till he is gone.” He says and she nods and kisses his cheek and walks away from him.

Chapter Seven

It’s been a year said Elena and Damon said goodbye. Damon is still dating Sage and Elena is single and living in Atlanta. She is living in Atlanta, because she can try to forget about Damon. It took eight months, but she finally got over him, finally. The problem is Damon is still in love with Elena, he wants to know if she feels the same.

Damon is sleeping and Sage is staring at him and when he wakes up, he starts to stir and his eyes flutter open. Damon’s eyes open and he smiles at her, “good morning, beautiful.” He says, while touching her face and she blushes. Damon starts to kiss her neck and she wraps her legs around his waist. Sage keeps kissing him; she knows she can kiss him all the time. Damon pulls away a little, “We should probably get up.” Damon says, and then she pouts. He kisses her lips, which turned into a passionate make out session. Sage is running her fingers through his hair and his hands roaming on her body. Sage loves it, when it’s just the two of them. Damon kisses her stomach and puts his head deeply in it and Sage moans, ”Damon, oh god” She says and he smirks while kissing her body. He enters her and she moans like crazy and he pulls her close. Damon kisses her hungrily and Sage starts to kiss his neck and he groans, “Damon, I need you.” She moans and he smiles. While she moans , “Damon I love you.” she says and he stops and looks at her, “Can we talk about this later.” Damon says, while getting out of bed and she nods. but she doesn’t understand why he is acting this way because they have been together for two years and Sage, really want to know.

Two hours later, Damon walks in and once he walks in the house and he sees that Sage is sitting on the couch and she knew something was up with Damon after she told him how she felt, she knew he was still in love with Elena. He sits by her and he sighs and he was just about to talk before she cuts him off “Damon I know you are still in love with Elena because you freaked out when I told you I love you and i know we shouldn’t be together , goodbye” She says and kisses his check and walks out of the door, she knew before I even do, but the real question should I go back to Elena, because Giuseppe will make sure Elena wouldn’t be in his life. Damon knew he had to stop him before this end deadly because Elena and Stefan are the only things that matter in Damon Salvatore life.

Two hours later, there is a dance at Mystic falls and all of his friends are going, including Elena and he was going to meet her there. Damon enters the gym and he sees Stefan and he walks up to him and they do their handshake and Stefan smiles, “How have you been?” Stefan asks and Damon didn’t really know how he was “I broke up with Sage because I realized I’m still in love with Elena.” Damon says and Stefan sighs, because if Damon and Elena got back together, one of them might end dead because of their dad. Stefan stares at the door and Damon is confused and he turns and sees Elena walking in a dark blue dress and Damon freezes she’s so beautiful and i love her so much, Damon thought. When she finally walks up to them, she flashes a big smile at Damon and he knew he wanted her back, no matter what. Stefan clears his throat and then Rebekah grabs his arm and they go on the dance floor and a slow song goes on and Damon looks at Elena, “Do you want to dance?” Damon asks, ” I would love to, Damon.” she says and she grabs his arm and they go on the dance floor. Once they hit the dance floor, she puts her arms around his neck and he puts his arms around her waist and they kept gazing into each other eyes and they knew they felt it. Damon spins her around and he dips her and their faces were an inch apart from one to other and he picks her up, which makes her giggle, “Damon, I’ve missed you so much, but I don’t want to get hurt and we still have your father to worry about.” She says, worried and Damon touches her face, “We will figure it out and then we will survive it together.” Damon says and she nods , she kisses him deeply and he kisses her back, while cupping her face and she smiles, while kissing him. Then Elena’s phone goes off and it’s a text from Giuseppe.Giuseppe : I know what you have been doing, you will never see Damon, I will make sure of it, this is your last night with the love of your life, bye Elena Gilbert. Damon and Elena were filled with love, they didn’t hear her phone go off, but they thought tonight was going to be normal night, were they wrong?

Damon and Elena are taking a break outside because they needed it because it was really warm in the gym and they wanted alone. Damon is sitting on the bench and she is sitting on his lap and he is nuzzling into her neck, which is making her giggle “I love you so much, Elena Gilbert.” Damon says and she kisses him deeply, then Elena hears a chuckle and they both pull away and see Sage and Elena gets off Damon really quick and Damon stands up, “Of course, right when we break up, you go into the Sluts arms!.” She says,angrily and Elena feels tears in her eyes and she walks away from them and Damon glares at Sage, “Why did you do that?” Damon asks and Sage forms a smirk, “Because you cheated on me and she deserved everything she is getting and Damon is more confused and then someone from behind hits him upside of the head and Damon falls on the ground unconscious and Sage smirks, “Hello Giuseppe.” She says and he steps in front of her, “Thank you for helping me, but now let me take care of this.” He says and she nods and he walks towards where Elena walked and he knew Damon deserved to be alone.

Elena is by the street where Damon and Elena met first and she remembered when they were teenagers, it was love and for them it’s always going to be Damon and Elena, but people don’t understand why they are confused why we were staying away from each other. I hear someone behind and i see Giuseppe and he has a big evil grin on his face and I knew this wasn’t going to be good at all and I was about to run, when he grabs my arm and glares at me “You didn’t listen to me, you deserve to die alone and then Damon will be forever alone.” Giuseppe said , Elena eyes widen and she was more confused than, ” What are you taking about?” She asks and then he takes something out of his pocket and it reveals a gun and Elena knew no none would be saving her. He smirks, “Ready to say goodbye. Goodbye Elena Gilbert.” He was about to shoot the gun and then someone shoots him in the back and she sees him fall to the ground and she looks and see Damon holding a gun and she gasp and tuns into his arms crying and he’s soothing her.

Damon and Elena called the cops and they showed up really quickly and they decided to take Giuseppe to the hospital and then when he gets all better, they are arresting him and he’s staying jail for the rest of his life. Damon and Elena knew this was a fresh start and now they can have a happy ending and they can finally be happy.

Two weeks later, Damon and Elena are really happy, but there just one part that is bad Sage has a revenge plane and she will do anything to get in the way and her target on the list is

Elena wakes up up and turns and sees that it’s Saturday and her and Damon get to spend the day with each other and she looks up and sees that he;s gazing into her eyes and she kisses him deeply and he kisses her back , he moves and he is on top of her and he starts kissing her neck, “I wish all of our days could be like this.” He groans and she giggles, “i know, but they will be eventually.” She says and he kisses her and she kisses him back and then someone walks in the room and they get off each other and they see Rebekah and they knew this wasn’t good once so ever. She sighs, “I found news, your dad got only a year in jail.” Once she said that Damon jumped off the bed, “How?” He asks, while glaring at the world. She is running her fingers through her hair, “He said someone was helping him with these plans.” Rebekah said and Damon and Elena thought they survived this, but they were wrong, and will they actually surviving anything?

Elena decided to go home because it was causing her so much Stress and she needed to relax and Damon needed to figure out everything, but how where they going to find the soon killer? She walks in the house and she throws herself on her bed and she feels something on her bed and she grabs a letter and it says.

Rose

Elena knew this was it, she was going to die and Damon would move on and be with Sage and she would be forever alone, Damon would find love and he would forget about her and he would regret being with her and now she would have nothing in her life. She starts crying and her phone goes off and she grabs it and sees it’s Damon calling her and she hits decline and she knew she had to tell him, just not right now. She hears a knock on her bedroom door and she wipes her tears and gets up and answers the door, which reveals Rose and she gulps and she tries to shut the door and she blocks it with her foot and she pushes on it and hits Elena and she falls on the ground, “When I said a couple days, i meant seconds.” She smirks, while holding the gun and pulls the trigger and hits in on her chest, “Goodbye, Elena Gilbert.” She says and walks out of the door

An hour later, Damon finally went to her house because she wasn’t answering any of his phone calls and her texts, email. He walks in her house and goes straight upstairs and he freezes and runs up to her and touches her face,, “Elena can you hear, me.“He asks, while holding her face and she mumbles, he takes out his cell phone and calls the police and ambulance. They came in a better of minutes and they take her out and Damon jumps in and they rush to the hospital to see if she will live or die?

They had to do surgery and she hit her head and with everything is going, they came to conclusion why she isn’t waking up because she is in a coma. The doctor walks out of the room and they walks up to him, ’Damon, we came to conclusion she is in a coma because she hit her weeks a few weeks ago and then someone shot her and then she hit her head again, it’s matter of time when she wakes.” He says and walks away, leaving Damon speechless and tears start to form his eyes, “I just got you back.” He says and then all the memories start flooding in his mind and he knew he couldn’t survive without Elena Gilbert.

Damon walks in her room and he sits down and grabs her hand and he kisses her hand, “I remember the first time I saw you, you were wearing a beautiful blue dress and pigtail and i knew i was in love with you the first time I saw you and i will never stop loving you, it’s always been you Elena Marie Gilbert. .” Damon starts crying and he feels like his heart is breaking on the step ahead, no one in his life wants him to be happy and he is going to lose her and he won’t survive and everyone knows he won’t.

It’s been three days since Elena got injured by Rose and Damon is really worried because he feels like she is never going to wake up. He’s been there the entire time; he hasn’t gone home or even showered.

Damon is sitting in the chair, while his face is on the bed because he fell asleep and all of sudden he hears a voice and he wakes up and he turns and sees the doctor and Damon stands up and they walk out of the room . Once they walk out of the room , Meredith sighs “Look, she was shot around on her side and we have to do surgery on her and it will take an hour and we think she will be sore, but fine.” She says and then walks away and Damon goes back into Elena’s room and he sees her waking up and Damon smiles real wide and he rushes to her side ” Elena are you okay , any pain?” Damon asks and she nods and grabs Damon and hugs him tightly “I thought you were gone.” He says while running his hands through her hair and she backs away leaving Damon confused “What’s wrong?” He asks and she gulps a little ” Who are you?” Elena asks and Damon eyes widen “It’s Damon, you know your boyfriend.” He says “No your not I’m Katherine Pierce and I’m dating Stefan.” Elena says and Damon’s eyes widen ” No your Elena Gilbert.” She shakes her head and Damon walks out of the door and he sees Meredith and he walks up to her “She thinks, she is a different person and thinks she is dating someone else. Care to explain?” Damon asks, Meredith sighs, ” She lost her memory, but she thinks she is someone because she has another personality, you just need to spend time with her and then she will realize what is going on, it will take time. If you love her, wait for her, even that means it will be a while, it’s worth it. Damon nods and he looks at Elena and smiles at her, she is the best thing that ever happened to me and i know she’s worth everything.

Later that night:

Elena is asleep on her hospital bed and Damon is staring at her and then his phone buzzes, he takes out his phone and it’s from someone he wasn’t looking forward to seeing or talking to. Giuseppe: So sad, that your girlfriend is a different person now, maybe she will dead before you know it. I hope so. Better not cross me again. Damon sighs, he knew he was never going to get ride of him, but he needs to find a way to it could take years, but it needs to be stopped and he was going to do it when everything gets back to normal. Damon stars at Elena and he puts his hand on her cheek and he sighs, he wishes she could remember everything and it would be perfect again. Damon eyes seem heavy and then he slowly closes his eyes and he smiles dreaming of the beautiful girl.

A couple hours later, the doctor walks in and finds Damon asleep on Elena’s bed and she smiles and she knew he really loves her, he would do anything for her, but the big question is will they find their way back to each other? Everyone knows if they are soul mates, they will do anything to be together and it’s Damon and Elena, they have to find away.

Elena slowly opens her eyes and she sees Damon asleep and she starts to smile a little and then she jumps up and he wakes up by her jumping and he looks at her confused and he touches her hand, “Are you okay?” He asks. Elena shakes “I remember, what is going on and how do I remember?” She asks and Damon grabs her hand ” You must be ready to let yourself back in and we can figure this out together.” Then suddenly Elena takes her hand out of his grasp and Damon gives her a confused look, “What’s wrong?” Damon asks. In Elena’s mind she wanted to open up to him, she shouldn’t be with him, he deserves someone else and she was going to make sure of that, even breaking his heart in the process. Elena grabs Damon’s hand “I don’t remember you and I don’t know what I feel for you, we aren’t together, you deserve someone else and you should go find her. ” She says and she looks at him and all she sees pain in his eyes and it hurt her, but she wasn’t Elena, she was Katherine. Damon grabs her face, “You have to tell me you feel something , we have been through so much, we can do this also. Elena, I love you with all my heart, please don’t give up on us,” She pulls his hands off her face “Elena is gone and she’s never coming back and I don’t love you and I’m not crawling back to you, so find someone else.” Elena says and Damon eyes start to water and he nods and gets up and leaves the room and just realized he has lost the love of his life.

Damon pulls up to Mystic Grill and goes up to the bar and the bartender smiles at him” What can I get you, handsome?” She asks , “Bourbon and give me the whole bottle.” She nods and she grabs him a glass and the bottle and walks away from him. He opens the bottle and just drinks right from the bottle and someone touches his shoulder, he turns and sees Giuseppe and he glares at him, ” What do you want, haven’t you done enough to ruin my life.” He says while drinking and Giuseppe smirks, “I ruined your life you picked the wrong girl and now that Elena is out of your life and now you can find someone and live your life, bye Damon” He says and then walks out of Mystic Grill. Damon keeps drinking and then he stops and realized she’s not worth it, she doesn’t love him, he broke his heart and she doesn’t care. He gets up and goes home, without realizing he forget his wallet and cell phone.

Damon gets home and he takes off his leather jacket and throws it on the couch and he goes by the parlor and grabs a glass and pours bourbon into it and he sits on the table while staring at the fire, then opens the door and he turns and sees the bartender and she has tanned skin and black hair, brown eyes, and tight clothes” Do you need something?” Damon asks and she smirks ” You forget your wallet and phone by the bar” She says, while giving his phone and wallet and he nods, while grabbing them and throwing them on the couch and sitting on the couch and she sits next to him and smirks, “Who is the girl that broke your heart?” She asks, “Elena Gilbert, who I thought was the love of my life, but she wasn’t.” He says, while finishing his glass of bourbon and she smiles, “You will find someone else, sooner or later.” She says and then gets up and grabs a glass of tequila and drinks it and Damon gets up and walks up to her “Thanks for bringing my wallet and phone” He says.

Then she kisses him hungrily and then he pushes her off and then he looks at her face, she kind of looks like Elena, maybe she could be my distraction. He grabs her hair and he kisses her and she kisses him back, while running her fingers on his arms and he moves to her closer and he throws her jacket off and she throws his shirt off and he picks her up and she wraps her legs around his waist. He walks to his bedroom and he throws her on the bed and she smirks” You sure about this? Elena wouldn’t like this.” He gets on top of her “I don’t care, I need a distraction and you are good for it.” He says and she smirks, “Good, I’m glad I am and it will be fun” She says and he rips her top off her body and throws her pants across the room and starts kissing her neck, making her moan and he takes off the rest of her clothes and his. He kisses her throat, “God, why did she leave you, your amazing and freaking sexy.” She says and he starts kissing every inch of her body and she scratches his back and he groans and she wraps her legs around his waist and she kisses him hard and he moans and she grids on him and he enters slowly and she moans, ” Oh my god, don’t stop” He smirks at her “Why would I stop that would be crazy if ever stopped.” She kisses him and he kisses her back, “Oh what’s your name by the way?” Damon asks “Krystal Parker and I know who you are Damon Salvatore” She says, while smiling and he smirks, “Well who doesn’t know me, I’m Damon freaking Salvatore.” He says, then she crawls on top of him and starts kissing his chest and he feels her kisses everywhere and this was great, maybe she could be best thing so far and he knew Elena would be happy with Stefan.

With Elena:

She just got home and she walks in her bedroom and she finds a bunch of pictures of her and Damon, she sighs and she sees a bin and she opens it and there are videos and photo albums and she takes the videos and she grabs the first disk and it says Damon and I first fight over a girl (Jealously).

Elena and Damon walk in the boarding house angry and Damon is confused more than ever that she’s angry “Baby, why are you so mad?” He asks and she turns and gives him a glare “Wow you don’t even know why I’m mad, god you are so blind. I’ll reprised it that bartender was completely flirting with you and you don’t even care, which you should because you are dating me” She says angrily and he throws his arms in the air “I didn’t think it was a big deal because girls flirt with me all the time, what do you want me do about it because I can’t!” He says angrily and she glares at him, “You like that they flirt and you don’t even care and I wouldn’t be surprised in the future you would do something because when they make a move, you one day you will not pull away.” She says and he huffs “Elena Marie Gilbert, I love you and if I ever hurt you , I would feel terrible, but I would never hurt you because you are the love of my life” He walks up to her and kisses her deeply and he puts his arms around her waist and she kisses him back deeply and puts her arm around his neck, They hear an aww and they pull away and see Caroline recording and they glare “You were recording this whole time and why were you?” They asks and Caroline smiles wide ” Because I’m recording every moment because you are meant to be.” She says and they laugh, because their friends are crazy, but she was right, wasn’t she?

Elena eyes water and she doesn’t understand why, she doesn’t have feelings for him and she’s not Elena and she’s Katherine and the love of he life is Elijah and she doesn’t love Damon Salvatore. S.he knew the Elena and Damon were perfect for each other and now Elena is gone and now is grieving through the break up and Katherine is going to find the love of her life and Damon will find his. She grabs her cell phone and she sees the background Is of Elena and Damon and she sighs and goes through her contacts and clicks on Stefan and clicks on his name and calls him and right away he picks the phone up, “Hey Elena how are you and I’m sorry what Rose did to you.” Katherine (Elena) smiles “Actually, I’m Katherine Peirce and I’m not Elena and I’m not in love with Damon, but I was wondering you wanted to go out some time?” She asks, while smiling. Stefan was shocked and the big question is he needs to talk to Damon about everything and how will he react to this and how is doing right now, ” I’ll have to think about and ask Damon, I’ll let you know, Katherine.” Then he hangs up the phone leaving Katherine (Elena) speechless.

Stefan walks in the house and looking for Damon and he walks upstairs and goes in Damon’s bedroom and he hears a girl giggle and Damon laughing and he knew Damon was moving on and maybe Damon and Elena not together was the best. He walks in his bedroom and he calls Katherine (Elena) back and she answers the phone right away, “Hey, what’s up?” She asks whiling smiling, ” Yes, lets go on a date and see what happens ” He says “Okay, see you tomorrow” She hangs up while smiling and knew this was going to be a good start.

Chapter Nine

Damon eyes slowly flutterer open and he turns and he sees Rayland sleeping and he smiles, because last night was amazing and he knows he still in love with Elea, but she doesn’t remember him and she thinks she is Katherine Peirce, also thinks she has feelings for Stefan, but Damon doesn’t see her coming back to him anytime. Elena broke his heart and she is moving on. he should be doing the same. Damon gets out of bed and he looks around and sees their clothes everywhere and he goes by his dressers and he grabs his black boxers, then the dresser next to his boxers and he opens it and grabs his black jeans and puts them on and he goes into his closet and pulls out a black long sleeve V-neck, and puts it on his body. He grabs his boots and puts them on and he goes downstairs and he sees Stefan pacing and he looks nervous, “Stef, are you okay?” Damon asks and when Damon asks that, he jumped, he probably didn’t know he was in the room. Stefan gulps, “Look I need tell you something.” He looks at him and nods and they sit on the couch and Stefan rubs his hands nervously,” Elena called me last night and she asked me out on a date and she said she’s Katherine and please explain what happened?” Damon eyes start to feel with pain and he knew Elena thought she had feelings for Stefan, but he didn’t think she would move on this fast, but maybe this Elena is completely different person, but he will miss Elena. Damon was about to say something, but then he hears footsteps and then Stefan and Damon turn their heads and they see Rayland dressed in her clothes from last night “Sorry, I was just on my way out because I have work and maybe I’ll see you around, Damon.” She says, while walking towards the door and then Damon walks towards her and grabs her arm “Look, I’m sorry, how about we go out tonight, so I can make it up to you?” Damon asks, and she smiles wide, “I would love that, see you tonight, Damon.” She says and then walks out of the house and Damon knew it was a fresh start. Damon walks by Stefan, “Look she lost her memory, but she thinks she’s someone else and the doctors say she will get back eventually but it will come, when she wants to and she made it clear yesterday that she doesn’t love me and she wanted us not together, that’s why I’m moving on.” Damon says, Stefan gulps, “Damon your just doing what you did with Sage and you know how that ended.” Damon gives him a cold ice glare “It’s different and I don’t care if you guys date because Elena and I are moving on and it’s in the past.” Damon says and then he walks upstairs leaving Stefan stunned.

Elena just woke up and she was happy and knew this was her fresh start, but she also wish Damon and her could be friends and she knew she needed to make a list of her fresh start.

Elena smiles at her list, she knows that this will be good list for the new me and she will accomplish it and nothing will change. Elena gets out of bed and quickly changes into black skinny jeans and a dark blue tank top, that has cross straps for the top. She grabs her black heels and her leather jacket and puts them on and grabs her phone and car keys. She walks out of her bedroom and she was about to walk out the door, when she hears Miranda and Grayson call her name and she goes into the kitchen, “Hey, Mom and Dad, what’s up?” Elena/Katherine asks and they both sigh, “Look we need talk about that everything that happened, can we please talk tonight?” They ask and Elena/Katherine sighs, “Fine, but I have a date with Stefan tonight.” Katherine (Elena) says and they nod and she gets up and walks off the house and goes to a solon for a new look.

It takes Katherine (Elena) to get to the salon about fifteen minutes and she walks in the salon and she walks up to the lady at the front desk. The lady is on the computer and Katherine (Elena) clears her throat, “Excuse me, but I’m here to get my hair.” Katherine(Elena ) says. The lady looks up from her computer screen and she smiles, “Yeah, hold on moment.” Katherine (Elena) nods. The lady gets up from her desk to get someone to get Katherine (Elena) done. She comes back five minutes later, with a girl who has pale skin and blue hair and dark blue eyes, who is wearing a black lace tank top with black skinny jeans with holes in them, “You ready to go, Katherine and I’m Katlin by the way.” Katlin says and Katherine (Elena ) gets up and follows her and they go to get her hair washed. Katherine sits in her seat and Katlin turns the water on, “Okay put your head in the water.” Katlin says and Katherine (Elena) nods, then puts her head in the water. Katlin gets Katherine (Elena) hair all wet, then she grabs shampoo and pours some in her hair and scrubs her hair with the shampoo, then rinses the water, then grabs the conditioner and scrubs her again, then rinses her hair. She grabs a towel after she finishes washing her hair and she wraps the towel around her head. Katlin goes to her station, Katherine (Elena) sits down in the chair and Katlin takes the towel off her head and grabs her brush and starts brushing her hair, “Okay what do you want to do with your hair?” Katlin asks, while finishes brushing Katherine (Elena)’s hair. Katherine (Elena), smiles wide, “I want my hair dyed black.” she says, confidently and Katlin nods and then goes to get the dye. Katlin comes back five minutes later, with the dye in her hands and she takes the dye out of the box and puts the black dye in a bowel and stirs the ingredient all together. Katlin grabs a brush and picks each strands of hair and puts the black dye on her hair. Then after an hour later, she finishes putting the dye in her hair and she wraps something on her head and she puts on the timer for five minutes. Katlin smiles, “There we just need to wait five minutes and we will wash it and you will be done.” She says, and Katherine (Elena) smiles, “Okay great, I can’t wait. This will be the best day.” She says smiling, then her phone vibrates, she takes it out of her pocket and she sees a text from Caroline.

Caroline: Hey I need to give you some stuff, maybe it will help you remember things, come back when you can.

Caroline looks at the text confused weird why she sent Katherine and now she was confused more than ever, who is Elena Gilbert and will Damon and Elena ever find their way back to each other, and if not is true love worth finding, if they aren’t together? Caroline sighs and grabs her phone and sees a picture of her and Stefan and she smiles. He is her best friend, but she’s also in love with him and she’s scared to tell him because he broke up with Rebekah five months ago and she thinks he’s not ready to move on, one day he will be and she hopes that’s very soon in the descent future.

Back with Katherine:

Katherine (Elena) puts her phone back into her pocket and waits for the five minutes to be up, because she’s excited for her hair to be done and she also has to talk to Caroline and then she needs talk to Damon and to figure out where they stand at this point. Katherine (Elena) knows there is something between her and Damon, but they can’t be together because she loves Stefan and Damon has moved on and now they can be friends and it’s better that way, because she has little feelings for him and doesn’t love him at all. Katherine (Elena) hears the timer going off and Kaitlin comes over by her,” Ready to rinse your hair?” Kaitlin asks, Katherine (Elena) nods and she gets up from the chair and they go over to rising hair area. Katherine (Elena ) sits down and Kaitlin takes the wrap off her head and grabs the permanently to make her hair stay black and she puts it in her hair and scrubs her hair, then rinses her hair. she grabs shampoo and puts in her hair and scrubs it, then adds the conditioner into her hair, while scrubbing her hair, then rinses it. Then, after she takes out her blow dryer and lays it on the table, then takes out black towel ad sets it on the next chair. She grabs her brush, she starts brushing her hair, until the knots are all gone and then she puts the brush down. Kaitlin grabs the blow dryer and turns it on high, then she blow dries the back of her head first, then she moves it to the right side, then the left side and the front and she does that routine for five minutes. Finally, after ten minutes, Katherine (Elena)’s hair is all dry, and Katlin smiles, “So what do you think?” She asks and Katherine (Elena) has a big grin on her face
