Part 1 ~ Running
The day Clara met Tris, she held a pair of scissors to her back.
They had come up together in the box, so upon waking up to the screeching sounds, Clara had the typical human reaction of panic. She hadn’t known Tris at the time, hadn’t known how close they would eventually be, and as a result, she had held the scissors to the small of her friend’s back like a weapon.
Tris had been surprised at first, but in typically Tris fashion, laughed and introduced herself.
Clara had been slightly surprised, and despite their immediate situation, liked the girl.
She liked her even more when Tris put herself between Clara and the two new men when the box finally opened.
