“The Future of Humanity,
The vow to transparency, which has been in effect for longer than the lifespan of anything we hold dear, was brilliantly demonstrated during these previous nine years. This is where the brilliance ends.
As I am confident you have predicted, your “Utilitarian Annihilation” is the least popular action any humans have ever taken. This being the case, I do not doubt the results, and upon reviewing the criteria for which planets and people are to be exterminated, I reluctantly admit that your intentions will most likely be realized. That being said, I am connecting with you, to reject your offer of sanctuary. If you deem my people, my planet, and my culture a threat, then you must deem me one as well. On the origin planet, we had a saying, one that I am sure is lost in your mighty Stel System of Records: ‘The captain goes down with the ship’.
If Grandevol is to be invaded, we will fight back, like the others, and if our defense is unsuccessful, like the others, I will gladly become a memory.
