Chapter 1

Compton, CA

April 4th, 2004:

“Tyrone I asked you to do one simple thing.”

“And I know Sasha, you know I usually come through for you, my boy gettin out today I gotta be there to get him.”

“You think I give a damn about yo boy? I got a bu-”

“Sasha just stay home, and I will deal with it the moment I get free time today I promise.”

“If you break that promise you know imma have to kill you right?” She asked making him chuckle.

“Yeah princess, I love you, Sasha.”

“I know baby,” Sasha replied before she hung her phone up.

Sasha was at the top of the world, just 2 years ago she was an 18-year-old girl trying to figure out who she was. She had embraced who she was, and the rumors they came with every hater she had. She was 20, with as much wisdom as a 70-year-old. Every day she woke up with more confidence and more motivation to be better than yesterday.

“Baby!” She heard Saint say as the front door closed, she rolled her eyes. She decided today she was done with him. After he cheated with his ex-wife a year ago she hadn’t been able to even pretend to like him. She was still shocked she was actually cheated on. She had told him 6 months ago that if he hadn’t gotten her back interested in him his time would be up. She wasn’t going to continue sitting around telling him she wasn’t interested anymore. She had told him for 2 years and then she put a time limit on it and his time was up.

“What’s this?” He asked seeing his things packed.

“It’s that time.”

“But baby I love you.”

“I know baby.” She responded. “You still gotta go.”

“I-I’ve been doing good, I ain’t cheated I haven’t even so much as looked at another bitch baby, please. We moved in together to try to make this work-”

“And it’s not working! Why the fuck should I stay?!”

“Sasha I love you-”

“Boy bye I ain’t tryina even hear that,” Sasha said waving Saint her boyfriend of almost 2 years off. “Get yo shit and get out my house.”

“Bruh so you just done like that?”

“I gave you 6 months to make me want you again, expiration date is here!” She sang throwing his stuff out the window of her bedroom. “That bitch can have you now shoulda gave yo ass back the day you cheated.”

“Sa-”

“Yeah yeah I ain’t tryina hear it. Get out!” She picked up the flat screen he had bought for and tossed it out the window as well.

“Bitch you fuckin trippin!” He shouted grabbing her up by her throat.

“You right I am a bitch, the baddest bitch you gone ever have. Get yo soft ass out my house Saint now.” She kneed him in his balls and he let her neck go groaning out in pain. She walked in the closet and grabbed her gun off the top shelf. She took the safety off and cocked the gun back. “All yo shit is outside no reason for you to still be in here.”

“You gone shoot me?” He asked

“And I bet you I won’t lose no sleep either.” She replied with a crazy smile, Saint knew she was crazy but he didn’t realize what he had gotten himself into when he was in it. He loved her though, and oddly she kept him in check and balanced. Due to her he made way more money than he used to, he carried his self better he dressed better, he knew how to present himself as a business man and now she was throwing him away like she was bored. He didn’t like that.

“I’ll be back Sasha.” He huffed storming out here room.

“Yeah and I ain’t gone do no talkin imma just blast yo ass!” She shouted after him and within a few seconds she heard the front door slam. “Bitch ass.” She said closing her window locking it. “New man me today please.” She says picking her phone up off the nightstand. She seen that she had a missed call from her Vanessa and she immediately called her back. She kept Vanessa close, she was a firm believer in keeping your enemies closer.

“Bitch I was about to turn around and go home, your brother said he had to talk to me so imma come get you and we gone head over to where he is and then we can go to the nail shop okay?”

“Alright bitch I just put Saint ass out.”

“Tell me all about it when you get in this car be there in 5 boo.” She said and Sasha hung the phone up.

She made sure all her doors were locked, and she put her pistol in her purse just in case Saint did decide to pop up on her while she was out. Once she got outside Vanessa was pulling into her driveway. She locked her front door and made her way over to the car getting in.

“Bitch what happened?” She asked referring to the mess in Sasha’s front yard.

“Girl that nigga told me he wasn’t leaving, I said oh you need some help?” Sasha said making Vanessa bust out laughing as she pulled out of the driveway. I threw all his shit out the window and told his ass to go with it, he gone say some he gone be back, he home get popped!”

As they went on laughing and talking about the situation they were at their location before they knew it. “Who is that?” Sasha asked her eyes landed on a man sitting on the hood of a Camaro.

“That’s X, he’s Tyrone’s right hand man.” Vanessa explained before they got out the car. Sasha liked what she was seeing, and she always got what she wanted. “Bitch you don’t want that one he not just crazy he a maniac.”

“Perfect.”

“Perfect? Sasha no I can’t even let you do that to yourself girl, sit in the car until I’m done talking to your brother.”

“He is mine, starting today.” Sasha spoke confidently, she was about to cross the street to approach him.

“He is a fucking monster Sasha no I’m serious.” Vanessa said pulling Sasha back by her wrist.

“What do you mean?” She asked curiously turning to look at her friend.

“He works for Tyrone, and I’ve heard some stories. Like the dude can eat right after he dismembers a body. He’s like a walking bomb, don’t do it bitch.” She warned. “And you literally just broke up with Saint.”

“And what a way to bounce back, huh?” Sasha asked before she removed her wrist from her friend’s grip.

“Sasha I’m serious he’s lethal and disrespectful every time a woman approaches him they walk off crying!” She shouted after Sasha who bravely walked strutted over to the man who scared everybody that came in his presence. She stopped in front of him and his attention tore away from the conversation he was having with his homies.

“I’m Sasha...” She said her eyes traveling his body loving everything she was seeing.

“So.” He replied.

“Your name is the proper response nigga.” She retorted.

He chuckled; he got up from the hood of the car getting in her face. The cold look in his eyes didn’t scare her, the anger he showed didn’t scare her, and the words that came out his mouth next didn’t move her, “I got a girlfriend move the fuck along.” He spoke disrespectfully and she chuckled.

She stepped closer to him, her lips were inches away from his and she didn’t bother to tear her gaze away from his, “Make me...”

“Man get the fuck on with that shit Vanessa!” Sasha heard her brother shout, and she turned around giving the situation her attention.

“Is it because of that bitch?!” Vanessa yelled as West jogged down the steps, she followed close behind and he didn’t even acknowledge her question. Vanessa pushes him and he turned around sighing, Sasha just wanted one reason to kill Vanessa even if it was for the smallest reason.

“Bruh chill! I said we over get the fuck on!” He yelled in her face and when her hand went across his face Sasha’s gun fired twice, sending bullets through her head.

“She still on that crazy shit!” Tyrone shouted busting out laughing.

“Dammit Sasha, X ass just got back and he already gotta clean some shit up!” West shouted at his little sister.

“She should’ve thought about that before she hit you. I don’t feel bad.” Sasha responded carelessly and X sat silent shocked by what he had just saw. “Your name?” She asked, turning to look at Xzander.

“Xzander.” He said.

“Sasha that man got a girlfriend leave him alone.” West said, grabbing his little sister’s arm pulling her back.

“I’m just thanking the man who’s about to clean up my mess, so I don’t go to jail, no harm in that right X?”

“No not at all.” He replied, though he had a poker face she could see right through it. She knew he was just as curious about her as she was about him. She was right, Xzander had a thing for the reckless girls. They seemed to be the closest thing to strong he could get, they still seemed to be scared of him though. So, he kept most things to himself, but something was different with Sasha.

“Tyrone what the fuck was that?” Jessie asked, coming out of the house Tyrone owned.

“Hey baby Sasha just blew somebody head off nothin major.” Tyrone responded. “Come on y’all bring y’all asses while X clean this shit up.”

“I’m gonna stay out here.”

“Sasha y-”

“She cool, it is her mess maybe I could use some help.” Xzander spoke up

“You don’t never need n-”

“Shut up cash let’s go man mind your business before you spill too much information.” Tyrone said and Cash listened following everybody in the house. Xzander’s girlfriend was Jessie’s sister, and they didn’t want any drama stirred up there.

Xzander’s girlfriend was reckless but not that reckless, she was scared of Xzander sometimes. Xzander was immediately intrigued with Sasha, his cold stare seemed to amuse her, his disrespectful ways seemed to amuse her too. She acted on impulse and didn’t even feel bad about what she did, and Xzander liked that.

They stared at each other admiring each other’s features and easily reading each other. Xzander didn’t realize he was looking at the female version of himself, and he didn’t know what he was getting into just as much as she didn’t know what she was getting herself into...

Earlier that day:

“How it feel to be home boy?” Tyrone asked X as he came from upstairs, he had been upstairs for hours with Gia. He was supposed to come in, shower, throw some clothes on and go with Tyrone to make some shit happen at Chang’s.

“You took a 3-hour shower?” Cash asked.

“Dumb ass Gia is up there.” West squinted his eyes at Cash looking at him like he was slow.

“Oh he was doing the do, gotcha...” Cash said catching on.

“I’m ready.” Was all X replied, but the front door opened and True came in immediately jumping into her brother’s arms. “Damn.” He said hugging her back just as tight as she was hugging him.

“Your dad’s lawyer is outside, he says that he has something to discuss with you. He tried to meet you at the prison before you were released but he was too late, and I was the emergency contact listed on your paperwork.” She explained.

“I ain’t talkin to no lawyer today-”

“Don’t push this to the back X, just go handle your business. I’ll go with you if you feel more comfortable that way.” Although she still had a southern accent, she sounded a lot more proper than she did when X went to prison. He was proud of her for not only graduating high school but finishing college early. She was depressed but seeing Lyric really helped her, she went to college with no breaks. While others enjoyed their summer vacation, she took summer semesters, while everybody went home for winter and holidays, she was taking winter courses and studying on the days school was out. There was no breaks for her, and now she had a decent job at an advertising company making 6 figures.

“Come on.” X said allowing his sister to walk out the front door first before he followed.

“How are you Mr. Flynn?” The attorney greeted him holding his hand out. X looked down at his hand before he looked back up into his eyes.

“How can I help you?” X asked

“He’s not a talker, what he means is he has other business to tend to so can we speed this up?”

“Of course, I was actually your grandfather’s lawyer first. He said that if he died, he would leave everything to your father. Your dad was dead by the time your grandpa died if your father died, he left everything to his brother and if anything happened to his brother it goes to you. His brother died before we had the chance to sign everything over to him, I had a hard time locating you and when I finally did, they’d released you from prison. I have here, 4 farms in Saint Louis, 3 Ranches in Boonville, 6 farms in Houston, and 2 farms in San Diego. I also have the family produce business deed; Flynn’s Fresh Foods has been in business with grocery stores all over the United States it’s a multimillion-dollar business and has been under my control for quite sometime now and I don’t want it anymore. All of the earnings are in the business account, it hasn’t been touched in 3 years. Your dad on the other hand left you the family house in Saint Louis and the family house here in LA.” He explained going through the paperwork with X as he explained what each one was for. “All you have to do for it to be yours is sign here.” He says pointing to the dotted line on the last page.

“Them people hated me, but they left me this shit?” He asked.

“The Flynn’s come from a long line of slavery owners, your great great grandfather Xzavier Senior despised colored people because his wife cheated with a black man, but the Flynn family has never allowed a woman to run their business it’s almost forbidden. This is a 60-year-old business and not once has a woman ran things, they’d rather have you, their black grandson run it rather than their white granddaughter. It’s messed up either way you look at it, but it’s yours.” He explained as X signed his name across the dotted line. “Here’s my card with my personal cell number on it, if you need anything give me a call Mr. Flynn.” He said handing over a card before he walked off the porch heading over to his car. He’d gotten in and quickly pulled off, he didn’t like being on this side of town.

“Wow, how do you feel about that?” True asked happy for her brother.

“It’s the least they could do.” He replied. “Let me go put this in my safe, I gotta go make a run with Tyrone but tomorrow we gone kick it, okay?”

“I don’t want you to go back to jail X..” True spoke up grabbing her brother’s wrist before he could walk away.

“I only got caught because I wanted to, I won’t get caught again. I promise True.” For some reason she believed him, she had gone all this time without the only family she had, she was afraid to lose him again.

X swerved into Chang’s parking lot behind West’s car, he turned the car off getting out. The guys standing in front started laughing when they seen him, Tyrone, Cash, and West got out of West’s car. “Who in charge here?” Tyrone asked with a blunt between his lips. He was back in action now that X was here. The other guys already had their guns in their hands.

“Why? Who the fuck is you supposed to be?” A guy asked Tyrone.

“Lucky run this shit, I advise y’all to step back before y’all get y’all-” Before he could finish his sentence, X had taken his gun out of his hand putting him in a head lock before he pressed the gun against the guy’s head. The other three guys aimed their guns at West, Cash, and Tyrone.

“Let him go or we gone kill them.” One of them said as Xzander’s arm tightened more and more around the guy’s neck. He couldn’t breathe at this point.

“I don’t give a fuck if you shoot them or not.” X replied honestly

“He ain’t lying, y’all all gone die either way.” Tyrone added as he continued puffing on his blunt. By this time the guy in the headlock was dead, X snapped his neck letting him fall to the ground before he aimed his gun at the guy aiming his gun at Tyrone.

“I can kill you in under a second, try me.” X said to him, the guy lowered his gun.

“We got a problem?” Cheeto asked as he stepped out of the corner store.

“Cheeto! Wassup dude.” Tyrone said chuckling. “We tryina have a friendly talk and niggas got guns out.” Cheeto looked at the guy dead on the ground, X had a gun pressed to Metal’s head and that was one of his best men. Cheeto pulled his gun out aiming it at Xzander, and before Cheeto could even register what had happened, all three of his men had a bullet in their heads and they’d hit the ground. Cheeto had looked at Metal and as soon as he looked back up, X had knocked his gun out his hand. X had him in a headlock and he tightened his grip immediately.

Cheeto’s legs dangled as he gasped for air. He tried to pry X’s arm from around his neck, but he’d failed. Once he started turning red Tyrone put his hand up, “Don’t kill him, let him go.” He instructed X let him go and he fell onto the ground gasping for air.

He got up and tried to swing on Xzander, Xzander ducked the punch and hit him as hard as he could in the stomach making Cheeto throw up. “Damn!” West, Cash and Tyrone said in unison. “No, no, no, do not hit that man again!” Tyrone shouted laughing; Xzander was about to punch Cheeto on the face. “That might kill him, I need him to relay messages.” Tyrone explained. Xzander stepped back; he went to his trunk using his key to open it while Tyrone talked to a hurting Cheeto.

Xzander grabbed his duffle bag out of his trunk, he walked back over to where everybody was. He pulled out 2 bulk bags, he opened both and set them down on the ground. He pulled his cling cover plastic sheeting out of his duffel bag. He went back to his trunk, opening it with his key. He placed the plastic in his trunk before he walked back over to the two bulk bags. He picked up the bodies one by one, two to a bag. He picked both bags up carrying them to his trunk, he placed both bags in his trunk. He closed his trunk, and he then walked back over to his duffle bag, he picked all their guns up and tossed them in the bag. He looked for shells, and shell casings. He made sure he picked up a every piece by tossing that in his duffel bag as well. He grabbed his metal spray bottle from his duffel bag, it’d had ammonia with a little water mixed with it.

He sprayed wherever he saw blood, he grabbed his cleaning brush from his bag. He scrubbed the blood from the parking lot ground, and the wall of the store. He used a rag to clean the blood from the glass of the door and windows. He placed everything back in his duffel bag and carried it back to his car putting it in his backseat.

“It was nice doin business with you.” Tyrone said as Cheeto got in his car, Tyrone went into the store with X behind him. He left Cash and West to guard the door, “How y’all doin, I got rid of them for y’all. I ain’t gone make y’all do shit y’all don’t wanna do, but I will offer protection cause they will be back. If you can pay, I won’t ask to use your store for my own reasons, if you can’t then I need to make my money for putting my life on the line for you.” He got straight to the point. X pulled his Baretta from his waist aiming it at the man behind the register.

“We work with you!” He replied quickly, throwing his hands up.

“Good I gotta go handle some other business, but I’ll be back in the morning to discuss business.” Tyrone replied, X walked behind the counter making Tyrone chuckle. “He prolly goin to get them tapes so you don’t give’em to the police.”

After a few minutes X came back with a hard drive and a few tapes. He followed Tyrone out the store, “Let’s go.” Tyrone says to West and Cash, X got in his car starting it. He pulled off before they did.

Once they got to Tyrone’s house, X was sitting on the hood of his Camaro going through the file the lawyer had given him with all the information he would need. A key to every house was taped to the page the addresses were on, there was even a small trucking company. He had the routing and account number to Chase Bank where all his money was. He closed the file; he dropped it through his moonroof, and it landed on his passenger seat.

“X when you gone get rid of they added?” Cash asked.

“It ain’t yo business to worry about white boy.” X replied and Cash nodded.

“Got it.”

“Vanessa on her way.” West said as he joined them on the street in front of Tyrone’s house.

“For what?” Tyrone asked.

“You still fuckin with her?” X asked

“Man, I’m done, I’m finna break up with shorty today.” West said making Cash and Tyrone laugh. A car drove by and Ice by Zanovia Nobles & Lily Jones featuring Jordan Woods was blasting.

“Aye it’s crazy they was best friends and they straight beefin’ and all of a sudden Lily and Jordan not together no more?” Tyrone asked. “Zanovia is it for me.”

“Don’t sleep on Lily fine ass now.” West spoke up.

“All I’m sayin is, is that I think Zanovia Nobles, is better than Lily Jones. They both good don’t get me wrong and I think my nigga Jordan Woods bagged both of’em and that’s the real reason they fell out.” Tyrone says and Cash tapped his chin.

“I ain’t never even think about it like that.” Cash said agreeing with Tyrone.

“See and that’s why you gotta pay attention, they broke up and all of a sudden her and Z just gone stop bein friends?” Tyrone asked.

“Damn so he fucked two of the biggest superstars in the damn world?” Cash said impressed nodding his head in approval.

“Slow ass,” X said shaking his head, he saw Sasha approaching them out the side of his eye, but he didn’t give her his attention until she stepped in front of him. Although she was gorgeous, he was with Gia. He wouldn’t have her looking stupid, but Sasha looked so good he couldn’t help but stare. He kept a great poker face though.

“I’m Sasha...” She said her eyes traveling his body-loving everything she was seeing.

Present:

“Stay here I’ll be-”

“No, I’m coming, I don’t have a weak stomach. Besides I told you my uncle can cre-”

“Imma do this my way, ion need no suggestions.” He spoke sternly.

“Either way, I’m going.” She replied, getting in his face, he didn’t bother to move back. He didn’t seem to mind how close her lips were to his, she smirked looking him in his eyes. It was like looking in the mirror, when he stared back into her eyes it felt like he understood her. She seen all the answers to her questions about life in his eyes, she had never looked at a man and been so speechless. He wasn’t acting thirsty, and she loved his demeanor. His presence demanded respect, and nothing less. She loved it, and she had always just liked something about a man, but she loved everything about this man.

“You can come.” He finally spoke.

“Oh, I know.” She replied. “What’s this place.”

“A farm.” He replied, and she raised an eyebrow frowning. She didn’t like the dry answers.

“Okay, why are we here?”

“Hogs.” He said, usually he would be irritated with all the questions. If she was anybody else he would’ve been said shut the fuck up, he hated talking.

“Need help?” she asked as he pulled the three bulk bags one by one out of the trunk. One of them now had Vanessa in it, he picked all three bags up effortlessly and she loved what she was seeing.

“The trunk.” He said to her walking around her, she closed the trunk following him into the backyard of the farm. All of his employees were off, and it was pitch black dark. Sasha turned her phone flashlight on following him to the huge wooden gate, “The key in my left front pocket.” He said to her, and she stuck her hand in his pocket grabbing the key. She unlocked the lock on it and took it off keeping it in her hand, she pushed it open letting him go first.

Once they entered Xzander’s huge 500-acre land that contained multiple types of animals. She followed him through the land, until they’d reached the pit of hogs. He tossed the bags into the pit and within seconds they’d attacked the bags chewing through them easily eating through flesh and bones. Sasha’s eyes lit up, she had never thought of that.

“Why didn’t I think of that?” She asked herself, Xzander chuckled. “How do you know that?”

“Grew up on a farm.” He replied simply. “Glad you ain’t throw up.”

“Told you I ain’t got a weak stomach.” Sasha said making him chuckle, “I heard them say you just got back, where were you?” She asked him.

“Prison.” His one word replies we’re starting to irritate her.

“You need to open your mouth and talk because this mute shit is not cute.” She snapped.

“Watch who you talkin to bi-”

“Let it slip and I swear to god I’ll beat yo ass.” She pointed her finger at him and he squinted his eyes at her. “You think I’m playin?” She asked.

“Nah I believe you.” He replied, “I ain’t never met no girl this way I just want you to know that.”

“I ain’t no average bitch.” She replied cockily and usually girls who were this conceited wouldn’t catch his eye. She walked in front of him leading him back toward the gate.

“Why you get quiet?” X asked

“I gotta hear my surroundings it’s dark if something jump out it’s like that.” She responded. “Why you get quiet?”

“I been quiet. Aye that was your friend and you like just helped me feed her to my animals.”

“Vanessa was my brother’s girlfriend, I had to tolerate her. She had a kid by this dude who works for Spotty-”

“I hate that nigga.” X says interrupting her.

“He tried to kill my brother, and it wasn’t no coincidence that every time Tyrone had a drop set up some niggas knew about it and tried to rob them. You gotta keep your enemies closer until you don’t have to anymore. West broke up with her she slapped him I killed her, and nobody was fucked up about it.” She explained. “I tell them all the time about trusting these hoes, they just as grimy as these niggas matter of fact worse. If I can help it? None of my people are goin out like that, that’s why I watch these bitches.”

“Yeah, I do agree with that.” X nodded; his friends had a thing for the girls who would easily stab them in the back for something more. They were blind to it, but not X. He chose his girl’s wisely, Gia had been his friend first they met at 11 and got together at 16, he knew Gia Ioved him and she wouldn’t stab him in the back no matter how bad things got between them, but she didn’t know him, she didn’t understand him and that’s what kept him back from her.

“Why were you in prison?” Sasha asked as they reached the car.

“I killed my dad.” He admitted carelessly, he opened the passenger door for her, and she got in.

“Woah, why?” she asked, grabbing his hand before he could move. He removed her hand from his stepping back shrugging.

“He didn’t love me I didn’t love him, we both hated each other so why not?” He went around the truth a little bit and Sasha chuckled.

“You’re a liar.”

“You don’t know me-”

“I know a lie when I hear one I ain’t gotta know you nigga.”

“First of all-”

“Don’t get offended tell the truth.” She taunted him, he sighed. He closed her door; he made his way around to his side getting in the car starting it.

“He wasn’t around until I was about 9 and when he came back from the war he was just fucked up. I had learned over 17 different fighting styles, how to shoot over 100 types of guns and not only that I had to be fast when it came to shooting, I got so good at it I could kill 4 people in just a few seconds they wouldn’t even see it coming I learned all of that by the age of 13 and once I was perfect guess who I had to test my skills out on first?”

“Who?”

“My mom, he didn’t like the fact that she was complainin about the way he treated me, so he said either I killed my mom, or he would kill my sister. So, I killed my mom, and he taught me how to get rid of a body and not get caught. I still ask myself why I didn’t shoot him. My sister wasn’t his she was before him, and I cared for my mom. I just couldn’t help but hate her too though, but my sister? She’s the only person in this world to ever hear the words I love you leave my mouth; I love my sister. So, when I walked in on him raping her, I killed him and I ain’t run I did my time, I was charged as an adult at 16 right after I had made shit official with Gia. We honestly just now gettin’ to our relationship, she waited all this time for me to get home from prison and I kinda appreciate it.” He explained.

“I bet you a hundred dollars she wasn’t loyal to you the whole time you were locked up.” Sasha spoke confidently.

“How you know?” He asked.

“Cause I wouldn’t only ugly bitches do that shit and you not ugly, so I know yo girl fine and she did not sit at home late at night waitin like you think.” Sasha replied chuckling and that made X wonder. “But maybe you got a good one, who knows we’ll never know.” She added.

X pulled into Sasha’s driveway after 2 hours of driving from San Diego, she had got him to talk. Listening to him was all she did, she could tell he didn’t talk much. She got him talking and once she did, she didn’t interrupt. She could tell he was from Saint Louis; it was the way he pronounced certain words, or how he would shorten certain words. She loved the rose tattooed on his side burn, she turned his face examining his face and he chuckled watching her eyes scan over his face.

The Diamond grills he had in his teeth made her heart flutter; he had a cross tattooed on his other side burn. His real hair was braided with triangle parts, his beard was long, and it made his smile just that much better. The Angel wings tattooed above his eyebrow, went well with the ‘Blessed’ tattoo under his eye. On his neck the name ‘True’ was tattooed in a fancy font that she loved. There were smaller tattoos on his neck, small praying hands, a small AK tattoo, the word ‘lover’ in small cursive near his collarbone, the word ‘killer’ in small cursive on the right side of his neck.

“Save this spot for me.” She said pointing to the inside of his right forearm, that was the only thing not tattooed that she could see. On the front of his right forearm read ‘Humbled’ and the left read ‘Psycho’ on the front of his left forearm 1986 in blocks. On the inside of his upper arm, he had a small STL portrait with the Arch, riverfront, Vess Soda, Imo’s, Whitecastle, Chinese food, air forces, a red Camaro, a red Mustang, a red Charger, and a red Tesla all in the portrait. On the back of his calf’s, he had Harley Quinn on the right and the joker on the left. She had seen that earlier while he was at the car talking to Tyrone and the others.

She noticed other cartoon characters tattooed all over his legs, she knew a few like Lisa from the simpsons, Morty, Huey from boondocks, Chris Griffin, Squidward, she wondered why he had those characters. There were others she didn’t even know.

“How you know you gone even be that important?” He asked her.

“I will be.” Her confidence made him smile, “You should come in, take a shower, don’t go home to bae dirty.”

“Ion think that’s a good idea-”

“That’s why you should do it.” She got out of the car, and X sat for a minute before turning the car off and getting out. He followed Sasha up the steps and just as she unlocked her door a car stopped in front of her house.

“Aye man who this niggga Sasha?” Saint asked as he and Cruise got out of the car.

“Don’t start nothin’ you not gone be able to finish Saint.” Sasha said.

“Man, why you at my girl house?” Saint asked, Cruise stood on one side of X and Saint stood on the other.

“I’m not his girl, I am over his sorry ass.” Sasha spoke up. “Come on X, that shower sounds nice right now.” She said opening the door walking in the house, and X followed behind. She closed and locked the door, leaving Saint on the porch. “He not gone do anything, come on.”

“Who was that?” He asked.

“You nosey.”

“You been in my business all night.” X retorted making Sasha laugh.

“I know I’m nosey.” She admitted shrugging as he followed her upstairs. “He’s my ex-boyfriend. The guy with him is Jessie’s brother.”

“Jessie’s brother?” X asked

“Mhm.”

“My girlfriend is Jessie’s little sister.”

“Cruise better not go running his mou-”

“He don’t know me, yet. I’m supposed to meet her brother this weekend.”

“You seem unbothered.” Sasha said as she led him into the bathroom connected to her room.

“I ain’t do nothin wrong.” He replied, Sasha didn’t say another word. She pulled her shirt off, after she kicked her shoes off, she pulled her pants off leaving her in a matching black bra and thong set. She didn’t have any tattoos; her caramel complexion was perfect. Her skin was glowing, and her light brown eyes was his favorite thing about her. He couldn’t help where his eyes landed as she stood nearly naked in front of him.

“You can join or wait out there and take one after me. Your choice.”

X stood still for a minute, and he was tempted. He wanted to do it, it would be a one-time thing he wouldn’t leave Gia for this girl and there wasn’t anything wrong with a one night stand. He shook his head, “I can’t even do G like that, imma wait out here.” He said shaking off the want to join her.

“There’s a bathroom across the hall go ahead and shower in there, leave your clothes outside the door I’ll wash them. Everything you need is in there.” She replied and he licked his lips, taking one last look at her perfect body before he turned around letting himself out of her bathroom.

After Sasha got out of the shower she did as promised throwing her and X’s clothes in the washer. She had a robe on, and she did it purposely, she had lotioned her body and sprayed perfume she had made on herself. She was laying across her bed scrolling on Instagram seeing Zanovia’s new boyfriend being posted by Hot Tea Tuesdays with Tasha with Lily. She told them about the drama, but before she could even think to call either one of them X entered her bedroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist. Her eyes looked up from her phone and she smirked.

He had huge Angel wings tattooed on his chest with a huge cross in the middle. On his stomach was a replica of the ‘Thug Life’ tattoo Tupac had. Under it read ‘Born Sinner’, above his right knee read ‘Under’ and above his left knee read ‘dog’.

“So imma assume I gotta stay like this cause all you got is yo clothes here, right?” He asked and she shrugged nodding.

“Seems so.”

“Where yo clothes at?” He asked pointing at her attire.

“My house I can be naked.” She replied patting the spot next to her on the bed. “Why did you pick those cartoon characters?” She asked.

“Each character represents me in some way.” He replied, she held up a blunt.

“You smoke?”

“I do.” He replied as she lit it puffing from it. “I get it, squidward don’t like people, Lisa is the smartest, Huey is really about that life, Chris is the least problematic, and Morty is just down for the ride.”

“Yeah...how you know?”

“Those are my favorite characters too accept I like Rick more than Morty.”

“I could see that, you watch Anime?” He asked her.

“No but for you? I just may.” She replied.

“Man, people be sleep on Anime it’s all good imma put you on.” He said making her smile, her smile made him smile.

She passed the blunt, “When’s your birthday?” She asked him.

“October 25th.” He replied. “What made you ask me that?”

“I’m not surprised, my best friend’s birthday is the day after yours.” She said realizing how much he acted like Kels. They’d passed blunt after blunt back and forth talking for hours. They both made each other laugh with jokes and making fun of the way each other smoked. Neither of them kept track of the time they were enjoying each other’s company.

They were laying down facing each other with a decent amount of space between each other. “So, who you think you is?” He asked making her laugh harder she wiped her tears away as their laughter died down. They were both staring at each other in a comfortable silence by now, Sasha had half a blunt between her fingers and she had forgot about it. She was too busy staring at the fine ass man across from her.

“Come here Xzander.” Sasha mumbled after putting out their fifth blunt. He scooted closer to her, and he didn’t pull away from her when she kissed him.

She grabbed his face tilting her head as their lips moved in sync and he gained more access to her lips. Xzander grabbed Sasha’s leg pulling it over his waist he laid her back on the bed staying in between her legs as they made out sloppily. Sasha’s eyes couldn’t help but close, her heart felt like it was about to jump out of her chest. The way he kissed her made her weak and breathless.

She had never felt this kissing somebody, she had wrapped her arms around his neck as the kiss intensified. He felt it too, they’d both got lost in each other. X got scared, he hated feeling anything. Nothing good ever came with that, he quickly pulled away. Her eyes slowly opened connecting with his. She was just as shocked as he was, this was new to them both. Neither of them had anything to say, they didn’t know what to say. They had both lived in a world where they believed the possibility of having feelings for someone didn’t exist, but this? This was more and while Sasha wanted more, Xzander didn’t. Sasha wasn’t afraid of anything, and X was afraid of everything so the only emotion he allowed himself to feel was anger. It showed the most when he was afraid, and she knew that because the anger flared in his eyes the moment he snapped back into reality.

“I can’t do this.” Xzander said immediately getting off Sasha. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to cheat on Gia, but it was something that scared him, the intensity scared him he had never felt that before. “Can you go check on my clothes?” He asked, she could tell she made him feel a certain way, but she wouldn’t press anymore tonight, she knew she would be on his mind from now on.

“Of course, imma put some clothes on make things easier for you.” She said leaning up kissing his cheek before she got out the bed.

“Yeah, imma get dressed and head out shorty.”

“Okay baby boy.” She replied before she exited her bedroom.
