Context!
[Context: Some OC stuff I developed in a forest with my friend. Mercy is a young adult living in a gated village with her aristocratic family. This is set in the victorian era. Take in mind I’m fucking stupid and know nothing about British history, [born and raised in the US] so this isn’t entirely factual to the setting it’s in. Mercy is not allowed to leave her abode, or to be educated from any outside sources. At the age of 12 she was forced into an arranged marriage.
