Summary

There is no grand, overarching storyline. Just some diary entries that feel particularly important to me, that I can't share with the people in my life. This is a way for them to exist in the open.

In light of recent developments

Let me tell you a secret:

There is a life, in which I am married to the love of my life

We are both women, and nobody cares.

We have a little daughter named Marigold, like my mother- Mary

Or a little boy named Kenneth

Or maybe both

We are blindingly, radiantly happy

We live in a small home somewhere up north where it gets cold and snowy in the winter. There is lots of rain and time for curling up with a book by the fireplace

We both work, but are never overstretched by our work loads, and we don’t have to worry about groceries. We travel to visit family twice a year. Our home always feels safe and secure.

I have dreamed about this my whole life. I do not think it will come true. Every time I get closer to it, the world around me warps to push it back. It seems a little more fantastical every year. I think I could settle for less. But some nights I stay up wondering why I have to consider that. Is it really too much to ask from this life? I am trying so hard. I have always been trying so very hard. So why?

I am so sorry we could not find each other this timeline my love, my children, my home. Know that I have dreamt of you fervently, and maybe things will go better for us next time.

Cora: Decent story. Slightly predictable turn of events but I didn't think at this point it was a possible twist! I enjoy the stream of thought writing style this has, though some proofreading and punctuation could help a few spots. Recommend this for ebooks and forgive a few confusing errors. Enjoyable t...
