One of my new favourite books
"My review copied over from goodreads: OH. MY. GOD. THIS BOOK. LITERALLY BRILLIANT. I swear I must have inhaled this book, I read it so quickly. Hooked right from the start, I fell in love with it all. The world she created, the characters she wrote, the ups and downs and the twists and turns of the story. I felt like I really got to know Sera and Elek. We learnt so much about their past and could really understand why they are the way they are. And Huri? I love them so much. Anyone looking for a novel with a non binary character? This one is for you. But honestly, there isn't a single thing about this book I could fault. The love stories, the friendships, family ties, villains, redemption arcs, political unrest - BRILLIANT. I know I've said that already, but it's the honest truth. It has been years since I enjoyed a novel so much. And I am DESPERATE for book 2. Jesika, I can't wait to read what you write next."
