"This is a really good book i like the fact its set in the future and even the first initial outbreak is still in the future which is funny because I feel like this could soon happen just because of all of the random diseases coming out or popping back up it only takes a mutation which they do all the time and rabies already has the symptom of biting when humans are infected I'm just a conspiracy theorist but I love reading anyones perspective on how they think the outbreak would occur this is very good I would suggest the book to anyone "

Parallels with today
"I thought the plot was very clever, there are things in the plot that are parellel to whats happening today in the real world. I enjoyed getting to learn about the characters, this is definitely not the run of the mill zombie story!"

"Holy shit! One of the characters has the same name as me! That’s certainly a good enough reason to read the entire series but an even better reason is that it is scary, thoughtful, prescient, disturbing, taut, and exceptionally well-written. Also, it has top-flight action sequences, strong and emotionally complex characters, and a frisson of apocalypse. I’m not normally a huge fan of zombie stuff but this was recommended to me by a friend and it really captured me. Give it a whirl… you’ll be glad you did."

Sucked Me In!
"I'm a voracious reader but have never dipped into the zombie genre, I have, however, read other fiction which creates a dark and disturbing future for our planet. Lately, I've shied away from such books because the world today is unsettling enough. But, I have to say Bag Men sucked me in! .The plot is fast-paced, action-packed and unpredictable. I cared about the characters and especially like kick-ass, strong women whom you'll meet in Bag Men. I laughed at the fresh and funny dialogue and appreciated the sardonic tone of the story. There is plenty of gory adventure, too! The characters remind us that even in the darkest times, humanity can adapt and reinvent itself and that the human spirit can prevail. I hope the series keeps going so I can find out what happens next."

"What a delightful story! I’ve read other episodes in the series written by J.R. Traas, and Bag Men: Mutation was the last one. Here, characters and dialogues are even more in harmony with the delight in personal features. Move back to Sacramento, working to become one of the safest places in the country. The task of Bag Men is to overcome the fear of zombies tailing over the entire series of books. This is a deep enough story that tackles a lot of things like apocalypse traits, devastated punishment, ground-breaking anthology, anxious uncertainty, horrifying uncertainty, gripping emotional suspense. That's what gave a hopeful reason for my impressionable mind to keep reading to know what else happens. Obviously, the author is mastering in turning out the characters to have incredible depth. Now I keep going back to certain phrases and passages that were tagged as worth when the first read was gone."

"It's a very interesting twist on the traditional zombie theme. The technical aspect of it is great! The only hole that isn't explained is how the infected become infected but don't know they were killed. Wouldn't they have some kind of wound? That may come later. I'm really enjoying it so far."
