Comfort Read
"I truly love anything MexAgainstxThexWorld writes. The writing style is comforting and artistic with metaphors and such, so it makes me feel safe and sophisticated when I read it. I love that this book feels very much like a slice of life where the characters are just chilling, living life, and enjoying each other's company (because that's the reason I read these—for the fluff). However, there is also a mystery plot, so not only am I feeling cozy and sophisticated when I read Project L, but now I'm a detective trying to figure out what is going on. I do want to add a note, someone else said that Cal's POV can be repetitive, so I reread the book to see if I can find what they are talking about, (again, this is a comfort book, I don't mind rereading it), it does feel like most of the book is in Cal's POV but that's my favorite POV 🥰. I specifically came to Inkitt to reread his POVs. I can see the world in a different light. Plus, since Cal is so baby, sometimes the daddies have grown up talks right next to him. So, Cal has no clue of what is going on 90% of the time, but the reader gets more plot even though it's cute wholesome Baby Time. I understand that's not everyone's cup of tea. It's valid to say it's repetitive since it is always, "Oh look. colors," but the plot is still moving on and we're not stuck in Cal until the POV is over. We still see what is going on around him, so I never noticed how repetitive it was. "

"This story weaves a new definition to family in the best way. Big and Little issues abound. There's evil to battle and knights to the rescue to protect their own. So, so sweet!"

"I love how the story is going.my only "complaint" would be that Cal's pov when he is little can be a little boring after some time. Aside from that, the story is a solid 10/10"
