Prologue

Heat radiated everywhere, choking anyone within range. The flames stood higher than the buildings of a normally bustling town. Only smoke covered the sky, panic and chaos arose within the people. Water Elementals rushed to the scene. For many families it was too late, but they gave hope to those that managed to survive. It was not long before that hope died though, because the fire was too much, even for the Water Elementals.

High in the castle that over towered the busy town, the fire was no calmer. Two girls held each other tight, surrounded by dancing flames and a crumbling tower. They were so young that the smoke could only graze their lungs. The fear of not knowing if today is their last settled in slowly. Both were strong headed, determined to live, but saw no way out.

Covered in suet, another girl looked for a way to get to them. She stood across the library, where books covered the walls with no windows. Seeing a main support beam burn to bits above the girls close to the exit, she knew if they were to survive she'd have to act quick. Her long hair singed to her shoulder, her throat sore, and the right side of her face severely burned; she ran. She gathered what little strength was left and lunged for the girls.

CRACK

"Autumn! Storm! Are you both ok?!?" The badly burned girl yelled as loud as her throat permitted.

"Sunny?!? Your face!" The older of the two trembling girls yelled.

CRACK, SIZZ!

Seeing the door blocked by the taunting blaze, they had no choice but to bust through, in hopes that the fire was more tranquil outside of the tomb they stand in. Taking the last efforts of her muscles Sunny ran the door. Thankfully, the door was weakened from the heat and gave way.

"PRINCESSES OVER HERE!!!"

All three turned to find one of the servant boys that worked in the kitchen, standing before what looked to be a corridor they had never seen. Looking for a way to outlive this living nightmare, they followed....
