Fate: Meant to Be

“Ummm”...I groaned in my sleep as the alarm continued to ring for the hundredth time.

Suddenly, my alarm blared to life. “Aish, this stupid alarm!” I exclaimed, pulling my hand out of the blanket to grab the alarm clock. I lazily opened my eyes, looking at the time in horror.

“No way!” I shouted, standing up straight with wide eyes. “Shit, shit, shit! I’m late!” Yes, I am late for my first-ever interview.

I hurriedly got ready, my mind racing with thoughts. “Oh gosh, how can I be late? I’m so nervous.” Not only is it my first interview, but the agency I applied to is my dream company.

My heart belonged to that company, or rather, someone in that company held a special place in my heart.

Brushing off the thought, I finally reached the company entrance and looked up.

“Wow, it’s huge!” This was one of the biggest modeling companies in the country, with top models and...him.

I took a deep breath. “I can do this.” I finally entered the building and went to the reception.

“Hi,” I said with a smile and a slight bow. The lady at the reception smiled back and asked, “How may I help you?”

“My name is Noa Amora, and I’m here for an interview,” I replied. She nodded her head and directed me to the 7th floor.

I smiled and thanked her, making my way to the floor. As I looked around, I muttered under my breath, “Oh, there are a lot of people.” Of course, there were lots of people who wouldn’t want to miss the chance to work with the best company in the country.

I took a seat, waiting for my turn. “It’s going to be a long day, Noa,” I thought to myself.

After the interview, I took a deep breath and said to myself, “You did great.” I looked around the area, hoping to catch a glimpse of that particular person. But to my disappointment, I couldn’t see him.

“Well, why would he come here?” I walked down the corridor and came across a huge portrait. Him. My heart skipped a beat.

Handsome as ever, his smile could melt a rock. His brown eyes had the power to make anyone fall in love with him. I saw a golden nameplate near the portrait: "Kim Taehyung, 2019.

He is the reason I applied to this company. Kim Taehyung, one of the biggest models in the country, and my biggest inspiration...and....

I looked at the portrait like a simp. (Ahem...well, not to mention, I am a simp). “I hope I pass this interview, Taehyung. I truly hope.” Saying that, I took one last look at him and made my way home.

With every step, I hoped to find my way to you..
