Marry me
The girl’s heart pounded against her chest as the weight of her decision pressed down on her. The street felt suffocating as she ran further away from the marriage venue. her bridal lehenga clung to her like a shackle, dragging on the ground as she sprinted barefoot on the street. Each footfall echoing against the silence of the night a harsh reminder of the choices she was making
Behind her the voices grew louder, shouting for her to return.they were getting closer but she couldn’t stop, the life she’d been promised wasn’t a future she could servive. The cool night air striking her face like a welcome slap
The moon was high, the stars glittering above, but there was no time to admire them .she ran down on the path that led away from everything she had known, away from the gilded cage of her family, away from the man she’d been forced to marry, away from a fate she refused to accept
On the other hand a man was sitting in his black SUV,the silence in the car was a reminder of his decision he took for his people, for his family, but there was no happiness on his face.he was going to face the biggest day of his life but that doesn’t matter to him not even a bit. as the car ran on the road the driver finally decided to broke the silence
“Rana sa dadi sa has been trying to call you”
The man glared at the driver before speaking
“I Know”
“W-why don’t you c-called back her”, suggested the driver
The man stared at the driver daring him to speak further and said
“You don’t need to tell me what should I do”
As soon as he said this the car halted and stopped.the man sitting on the backseat growled and shouted, “what the hell are you doing why the fuck you stopped the car”
The driver gulped down in fear well aware of his anger and spoke,” t-that Rana s-sa a girl suddenly came in front of the car”
The man frowned and ask, “A girl”
“Yes I’ll go and see”, said the driver
Before the driver could get out the back door of car opened and the man stromed out of the car,he walked at front on the car and found a girl sitting down her eyes closed in fear, her trembling hands were covering her ears.she was looking too fragile, too weak for her own good, but he didn’t gave a damn about this he grabbed her arm and made her stand on her feet.she trembled at his touch and didn’t even dare to open her eyes
“Are you fucking blind can’t you see before walking ” the man shouted fuming in anger, she flinched at his voice as tears rolled down from her eyes,“if you want to die this badly go and die infront of someone else car I don’t have time for these shits” he yelled glaring into her soul before he could say anything further the driver came holding a phone,“Rana sa dadi sa wants to talk to you”, said the driver
The man took a deep breath before answering the call.“khama ghani dadi sa”.
“Akshat bete kaha ho aap ham aapko kabse call karne ka prayas kr rahe he”,dadi said asked in worry ( akshat were are you child i was trying to call you for long)
“I was on the way dadi sa” he answered nonchalantly
“Apko pata bhi he Ya kya chal raha he aap jaldl se jald yaha aa jayie ” dadi sa said in distress ( do you even know what is going on here come back as soon as possible)
“Kya baat he dadi sa”he asked sensing that something is off ( what happened dadi sa)
“That...purvi kahi nhi mil rahi he vo Hamne sab jagah Dhundh liya... shayad vo bgag gayi “Said dadi sa ( that purvi isn’t anywhere here we looked for her but everywhere i think she ran away)
After listening her words he clenched his jaw in anger and hung up the phone his soon to be wife ran away from the marriage, this wasn’t a small thing and her running away made a huge loss for him he was getting married just to be a king and that stupid girl ruined everything he looked in front were he found the girl still standing looking down as she was sobbing silently he grabbed her arm again and with his other hand he tilted her chin so he could look into her eyes, her eyes were full of tears pleading for him to let her go,he took a deep breath and said Marry Me
