CANDY! a twilight fanfiction. original character romance.

VICTORIA ELANOR ROBERTS...is Isabella Swan’s only cousin. Be it the luscious hair she’s spent her entire life maintaining, the sharp features she’s blessed with, or the tough personality, no matter the reason, everyone in the area knew her. However, she kept to herself and her awkward, younger cousin.

Yet, when Bella mentioned plans to return to her father’s side, Victoria was instantly excited about the chance to become a stowaway.

One thing to know about Victoria is that she hates being in her mother’s household. You see, Carmen Swan-Roberts was an abuser of her one and only child. Anything her child did in her eyes was disappointing. And all Victoria ever saw her as was a drunk, abusing piece of shit who let the men she dated walk all over her. And that’s all she’ll ever be in the teen’s mind.

So when she asked Bella if she could tag along, and Bella entertained the idea, Victoria’s mind was set. She began to pack everything she owned, which wasn’t a lot, and prepared to leave her bullshit life behind.

Now she’s beside Bella on the plane to the miserable town where her uncle resides. But nothing mattered more than being away from the blonde drunk who didn’t even bother giving her a goodbye. Well, if you count the time she got mad and tried to hit Victoria in the back of the head with a beer bottle, screaming that she was ungrateful and that she’d come crawling back as a goodbye, then yes, she did.

But expectedly, she drunkenly missed and earned a big, fat chuckle from her daughter, who slammed the door in her face. Victoria remained unbothered, well, I mean, she pushed the interaction to the back of her mind. A new mindset on the clean slate that the low-populated town offered her. Little did she know that a family of vampires is hell-bent on making that clean slate a wee bit complicated.
