Chapter 1: Caleb
When was the last time I went out? I look at the clock on my bedside table. It’s nine in the morning, in other words too early for me, so I decided to take a short nap.
“Five more minutes,” I mummble to myself. I think everyone in this fucked up universe knows I’m lying. When I wake up it’s seven in the night. Wonderful.
I make my way downtown heading for the bar. Breakups suck, now THAT I know.
I was hoping to find a new hookup today but found myself trapped with a group of football players talking shit about their girlfriends and crap about their future. This was byfar the most bored I have ever been in my whole goddamn life. I huff as I look for a place to take refuge far away from those lunatics. I make an excuse of how I need to go see how my “Aunt’s” doing at the bar. And ofcourse the idiots belived me.
“Hey...you! Get us a couple of shots would ya?” One of the dimwits calls as I retreat towards the bar. I wave at Adam to get them some drinks. Adam gives me a knowing smirk and all I can do is...stare. Yea, I’m SO good at comunication. Not.
Underneath Adam’s tight shirt which, I’ll admit hugs his body just right, are muscles. So many muscles. I look down at my choice of clothing asking myself why I chose to wear a sweater with baggy jeans and my worn out sneakers.
“Because you wanted to feel comfy” I say to myself.
“Hey cutie,” I startle when I look up and see the hottest man of any man kind.
The hot dude smiles and says something but I’m too absored in his ice blue eyes to pay attention, it’s like their sucking me into a vortex. I yelp as a hand clamps down on my shoulder.
“Ahh, you good man? I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable” Hot dude says ruffling his golden locks of hair.
My face burns as I look down.
“Sorry about that,” I mumble. “But I gotta go!” I ran out of that bar like my life depended on it, but instead of my life it was my sanity.
