Review

"From the very first line, this story grips your heart with the promise of something unforgettable. Set on a sweltering summer day in Colorado, the writing immediately immerses you in the thick air of tension, anticipation, and raw emotion. But it's not just the weather that’s heavy it’s the feeling that something life-altering is just around the corner. Skylar, our relatable and endearing heroine, is the kind of character you can’t help but root for. Perpetually late, hilariously self-aware, and full of human flaws, she reminds us of ourselves or someone we love. Her rush through the chaos of pre-wedding errands, the pressure of family expectations, and her own internal battles feels both urgent and deeply personal. And yet, it’s told with such a warm, compassionate tone that you feel like you’re right there with her breathless, anxious, and just trying to do her best. What makes this story especially touching is its quiet reflection on fate, timing, and how one ordinary moment can become a turning point. The humor laced through Skylar’s lateness and the barrage of texts from her sister adds a lightness that perfectly balances the deeper emotional undercurrents. This is not just a story about being late. It’s about how life doesn’t wait but sometimes, even in the chaos, we find clarity. It’s heartfelt, funny, and beautifully written. I can't wait to see what comes next for Skylar. 💖 A must-read for anyone who’s ever run late, missed a moment, or hoped for a second chance."

So I far, I’m liking this book. It’s definitely a different genre than the author usually writes, but I like this change. The depth, the writing, the dialogue. I can’t wait to see what else is gonna take place!

"Will definitely keep on reading!"
