"I can’t believe that I have not written a review for this book - it is THAT GOOD. The writer is fantastic- I’ve followed her here from Dreame, read ALL books SINCE HER VERY FIRST, & I expected a bit of the same story line (as the other books in this grouping). However, this book is refreshing, with unfortunately less smuttery but HOT as hell and TESTING (of my sanity and patience) in equal measure. I like it👍 I love a good dish served cold trope- the fact that it is a best friend/ underdog (I should say ‘underfox’) server whose a Female lead - has me in puppy dog eyes, checking for updates like a lunatic! M.Gilbert is laying it on thick guys - by that I mean it’s filled with suspense, thigh pinching gratification and reluctant surprise! I’m here for it... Ps: the book updates unpredictably every ten or so days - so i would advise you to wait until the end of the book to read if you can’t wait for updates. For me: I would rather have quality reads every 10 days than a quick forced update that’s shitty and makes no sense. Check it- Good food takes time pple and this writer can COOK! Let her cook pple!"
