"As an empath, this chapter hit me in the gut like “oof”! Nick is sus…he cannot be having his cake, eating it too, and putting the emotional blackmail cherry 🍒 on the top. Great writing! I’m guessing him and Maya are DTF FWB and that’s why he won’t tell her what’s up because he knows he’s gonna lose her if he drops that truth bomb. Too bad she just didn’t date Landon first from the very start, but then this wouldn’t be such a juicy read with all the tea being spilled. I love the friendship she developed with Landon now though. I really hope something deep and beautiful develops for her an Colby, seems like he could use that kind of positivity/love in his life even if it is just a friendship. "
