A Meet-Cute Must
"I'm only four chapters in, but I'm already hooked! This author derails all those stereotypical nuances of "meet-cutes" and turns them on their head! I ADORE Sloane, a complex FMC who fights to battle her social anxiety while hopelessly pursuing Theo—the handsome, yet quiet jock who cannot stand a big crowd. Their connection is instant and the chemistry is undeniable. I'm not normally into "sports" novels, but this ISN'T a sports novel. It's 100% romance. Although hockey is cleverly interwoven and mentioned, all it does is add significant depth to Theo's character and the plot. The social anxiety Sloane feels is also realistically described, which I appreciate (being a sufferer myself XD) and adds more depth to everything this wonderful novel is: A heartwarming, romantic novel with a whole lot of layers. If you're waiting to pick this beautiful story up, stop what you're doing and just DO IT. You won't regret it!"
