Chapter 1

It was the last Saturday of 2024 , a day I will never forget .

This Saturday was like any other Saturday , with the exception of the rare sighting of a blood moon . You see in this part of Illinois , we don’t get much excitement , so as you can imagine the blood moon , had folks on edge around here. People were buzzing and many superstitions were floating about, talking of omens and signs.

Some speculate the world was coming to an end . While others hung wards and charms around the town square , and I could have sworn I seen some folks leaving out offering .

As I finished up my last job for the day I decided to take it in for the night . I walked through the front door of our farmhouse. Like any other Saturday my beautiful wife Sarah was sitting in her favorite red armchair . When she looked up to greet me, I noticed the gleam in her eyes. It told stories that words never could. I felt the pull of desire like never before . I set down my work bag, captivated by the magnetic allure in her gaze.

Adonis she called pulling me out of my thoughts . “Did you see it? The moon? Your father says it brings change. ” She paused, worry creasing the corners of her eyes. I shook my head, stepping closer to where she sat. “I didn’t catch it yet, but I will. Why don’t we step outside and watch it together? ” Her eyes sparkled at my suggestion, and a reassuring smile chased away the shadows of concern. Hand in hand, we strolled onto the porch where the chill of the night wrapped around us. Above us, the moon hung low, its red light casting an ethereal glow on the fields, turning night into a canvas of dreams.

The stars flickered softly, their light mingling with the copper hue that painted the sky. The air was thick with a sense of expectation, as if the universe held its breath alongside us.

Your food is ready let ’s sit down and eat before it gets cold,” she added with a small smile to lighten the mood. As I watched her enter the house to set the table . I could have sworn I smelled her arousel as I noticed she was wearing my favorite pair of red lace panties and bra set , leaving nothing to the imagination. A mischievous smile tugged at my lips, but I decided to play it cool.

As I made my way into the dinning room , I accidentally bumped her causing tingles to shoot up my arm . Excuse me she replied chuckling as she walked by , thinking I had done it on purpose. That familiar twinkle returned, and I couldn’t help but marvel at how infectious her laughter was. “I guess you thought I needed a nudge,” I joked, sitting down across from her. “I suppose I did,” she replied, biting her lower lip playfully. Is that new perfume I asked ? Her sent was extremely intoxicating tonight , she smelled of peaches and vanilla . I’ve never smelled anything so alluring.

Her cheeks flushed slightly, adding to her charm. “Yes, it’s new,” she admitted, lightly touching her necklace as if a bit shy. “I thought it might catch your attention. ” The playful glint in her eyes told me she knew exactly what she was doing .
