I was 18 getting ready to go off to college but that didn't happen at all because my mother had my youngest sister when I was young. Now she is pregnant again. I don't understand her. We have different dads. She thinks I am supposed to take care of her kids while she goes out and gets drunk and high off of drugs.
I can't understand get that she wants her freedom, but I have my life also I need to be able to get on with my life and have a life. I want to become a nurse. I have always wanted to be a nurse that was my lifelong dream. I want to help people; I love helping the elderly more.
''Mom, I get that you want to go out and party, but you are pregnant, you don't need to be out here getting drunk and high. You need to think about that baby. I can't keep bailing you out of jams. Its time you take responsibility for your actions and grow up. I am going to college and my stepsister is going to go to her dads I am not going to be raising your baby. You need to understand that I am not their mother. I am their sibling.” I said.
“I don't care what you say anymore Olivia. You will take care of them like i said for you to.” My mother said.
"I don't care what you say mother. You just keep having kids for me to take care of and I cant keep doing it" I said
"You are an ungrateful little bitch. You think I want to keep raising them. You need to understand that I need my own life. Its not my fault that i can keep on having baby's" My mother said.
''Ungrateful how the fuck am I ungrateful mother, or should I call you Birdie. Yeah I said your name and there is nothing you can do about it. You act like I have to take care of my siblings while you go do what you want. I am suppose to go to college but that's not gonna happen now because I have kids to take care of. I will get custody of them and not let you ever see them again'' I said.
''Go ahead and get custody of these little damn brats Olivia. I really don't care anymore. You can do what you want with them. When I have this baby I will make sure you get him/her also,'' Birdie said.
''Look Mother you have 4 kids, now your pregnant again. When are you going to stop letting these men just get you pregnant and leave you,'' I said.
''What I do with my life is my business, oh by the way you need to move out and find a place for you and your kids. Here is the papers signing my rights away to them,'' Birdie said.
