One faithful afternoon in the kingdom of the HeralDynasty it was Awfully quiet and knowing the king and queen had two little ones and a teenager it should be Loud well it’s not because the 3 children have been taking Etiquette lessons. The oldest out of the three little ones is Kayleigh she has just turned sixteen she is not very little but she is little in the king and queens eye’s the youngest of the 3 little ones
is ajax he’s Five and a half!The middle child is Luke. He’s more quiet if you compare them to Luke. He is fifteen The king and Queen are currently Away from the kingdom of Heral as they are off in another kingdom doing business as it was half past three in the afternoon kayleigh and her younger brothers would be Having tea and talking the maids can’t stop siblings from talking that’s cruel so they let them sit in the grand hall and talkfor awhile the guards have grown fond of Kayleigh as she’s a gentle person and very genuinely soft spoken girlyet she has a fire for Disobeying within a couple of seconds of the three children being together it was something funny it ended up with Kayleigh choking on her tea and she played it off very politely.

Kayleigh said reaching out for a cloth so she could clean it up she has long Light blonde hair that’s curly and also very bright blue eyes ajax looks exactly like her but luka looks more like there mother with dark hair dark eyes but he didn’t care he just loves his family “i’m so sorry kay” luke murmured look at his elder sister she could never get mad at her siblings and that’s not always a good thing “don’t sweat it luc it’s fine just stop telling inappropriate things around Ajax he is way too young to hear that.” Kayleigh continued her tone was stern yet still sweet. Luke looked away for a second as it’s not anyday you get scolded by the crowned princess. He slowly looked back at her Kayleigh’s bright blue eyes could be seen as dull by any normal person but to the royals she had a beautiful spark Luke has dark brown eyes just like his mother Ajax was sat next to Kayleigh he was eating a red velvet cupcake as a maid gave it to him for good behaviour.
“My lady your parents have returned”
One of the butlers announced as he bowed slightly as Kayleigh immediately stood up and walked towards the great oak doors the faint clicking of heels could be heardfrom behind the door Kayleigh opened both of the huge oak doors behind them stood two people one was a male around thirty-oneyears of age and around six foot tall and a woman that looked to be about thirty years old and around five foot and ten inches tall
“ greetings mother greetings father”
Kayleigh rendered curtsying at the sight of both herparents the boys had also bowed Ajax looked at his elder brother and realised there was a red dot on his forehead one of the knights had just noticed the knight that had realised was sixteen he had reached out to grab luke’s arm before one of the windows shattered and a bullet came flying through the air that knight managed to pull luke onto the floor just in time Kayleigh froze then spoke up.
“Assassin, Luke, are you okay?” her voice was sugar coated with concern she was trying to cover up onhow badly that had scared her she was slightly shaking then she felt a gloved hand on her shoulder it was her father Kayden the king
Luke had banged his head on the table when the knight had pulled him down. The knight made luke look at him by using his index finger to tilt his chin up “ your highness can you hear me?” The knight questioned snapping his fingers in front of Luke’s; he is not at all coherent. He is really out of it. the queen Maya walked forwards dropping onto her knees and slapping her son so he would just be coherent. Luke’s head snapped around to look at his mother before speaking up.
“Ow- that hurt..”
Luke’s voice was coated in pain and it was hoarse Maya cupped his cheeks and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead
“Guards, can you track down that Assasin for me?”
Kayden spoke up not taking his hand off of Kayleigh’s shoulder she was shaking she held her hand out to ajax who quietly took her hand
“Yes, your imperial highness.” Almost all of the guards said as kayden looked at the younger knight who had practically saved his son from being dead meat
“You” Kayden voiced “You will be staying here and making sure he will not to be leaving his chambers until further notice” he continued before the head of the knights spoke up.
“But sire he’s only a boy?”
Kayden let out a small chuckle
“Just a boy you say, would just a boy save someone that he doesn’t know?”
Kayden hissed
“So do not challenge me on this”
He snapped, giving kayleigh’s shoulder a firm squeeze as he slowly let go of kayleigh’s shoulder and approached the head of the knights.
“What’s the boy’s name?” Kayden murmured his voice thick with authority “Aiden sire” The head of the knights replied looking over to the younger knight who was helping Luke stay upright as Aiden had one of luke’s arms around his shoulder as Aiden had an arm around luke’s waist luke was practically leaning on Aiden for support Maya had a hand on her sons back making sure he didn’t fall over. Aiden kept a steady arm around Luke’s waist, Maya giving him a nod and she completely let go of her son and Aiden was holding his full weight but he didn’t care.
“Maya Can I speak to you now?”
Kayden questioned looking at his wife with a complete desperate look in his pale blue eyes.
“Yes you can? You can always speak to me”
Maya replied standing up and just slowly walking over to him with the soft clicking of heels on the stone floor Maya eventually reached kayden and gently took one of his hands and gave it a very light squeeze mayadidn’t have to say anything for kayden to know she would always be here for him no matter the cause then she spoke up.
“Family is more precious than a war” her tone gentle yet full of uncertainty she knew Kayden would know were she’s coming from kayleigh had frozen when she had heard the word war who on earth would start a war that was the dumbest she had ever heard she looked at ajax who looked just as confused as kayleigh did, she lightly squeezed Ajax’s small hand as she spoke up “what war?” Kayleigh questioned why could that have been the reasonher parents had been out of heral for a couple of days? Well Kayleigh didn’t know she just looked at both of her parents that looked slightly guilty but maya gently let go of kayden’s hand and walked over to Kayleigh and Ajax she quietly took Kayleigh’s free hand into her own and squeezed it “Darling the whole reason we left heral was to stop elder-witch from trying to set you up with prince issac.” she quietly mumbled as a parent this was hard to make sure your children are safe and healthy while also trying to look after yourself and your husband maya let go of Kayleigh’s hand and gave her a kiss on her cheek.
