Chapter 1
“How much for a night, huh? Do you take advance from the customer or is it after the night’s over?”
Suddenly, such a vile question made Aahana look at Rohan in shock.
Until then, she had been sitting in the restaurant talking with her new boyfriend, when Rohan suddenly entered. Seeing Rohan made Aahana’s heart race because she knew something bad was about to happen. Nervously, she stood up, her throat dry with fear.
Rohan looked like an injured, ferocious tiger. His eyes were incredibly red, and with his fists tightly clenched, he approached Aahana and said:
Rohan: “Well, if I knew the rate, I would’ve brought a few friends to spend the night with you. For you, one or two isn’t enough. And since you’re good-looking, they’d have fun, and your earnings would be great too.”
Hearing Rohan’s words, Aahana almost started crying.
She stood there with her head down, tears streaming from her eyes.
Having made Aahana cry, Rohan now turned to the guy sitting next to her and said:
Rohan: “By the way, can I know how many customers you’ve had? You seem like a gentleman, so why would you be here in a place like this? Is there a shortage of women in the country that you’ve fallen for this one?”
The guy, surprised, said:
Guy: “Who are you? And why are you speaking to her like that?”
Then the guy turned to Aahana and asked:
Guy: “What’s going on, Aahana? Why aren’t you saying anything? Who is he?”
Aahana’s throat was dry, and she was stumbling over her words. Nervously, she said:
Aahana: “He... h-h-he’s m-m-my... m-m...”
Before Aahana could finish her sentence, Rohan slapped her hard across the face. Stumbling from the force, Aahana fell to the ground. The slap was so hard that Aahana’s lip split open, and blood began to drip from it.
However, Rohan didn’t seem to care. He grabbed a fistful of Aahana’s hair, yanked her up, and said:
Rohan: “What were you trying to say? I’m your ex, right? Listen carefully, even if you break up with me, I’ll never do it. I’ll never be your ex, got it?”
Holding her hair, Rohan turned to the guy and glared at him with fiery eyes:
Rohan: “This is my girlfriend. She still is, and will always be, understand? So if I ever see you near her again, you’re in for trouble.”
The guy, stunned, replied:
Guy: “What is all this, Aahana? And, brother, whoever you are, listen. I’ve been in a relationship with her for the last 7 days. So whatever you had with her is the past.”
Rohan: “That’s why I asked, how many customers have you had? And maybe you don’t know, but Aahana grew up in my house. She still stays there, and starting today, she’ll be in my room. Do you have anything else to say?”
The guy: “Why aren’t you saying anything?”
Aahana, crying uncontrollably, said:
Aahana: “Sir, please let me go. I don’t want to be with you. I want to be with him.”
Rohan: “Oh, really? Let’s go home then. I’ll show you. Who are you going to stay with and who are you not going to stay with?”
The guy: “No matter what your relationship with her was, she doesn’t want to be with you anymore. You can’t harass a girl like this. And you can’t interfere in our relationship.”
Rohan, now enraged, clenched his fists and said, “You have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re messing with the wrong person. Stay out of this, or you’ll regret it.”
Rohan said to the guy:
Rohan: “It seems like you’re not from around here. If you were, you wouldn’t have the courage to look at Rohan’s girlfriend like that. Anyway, I don’t care where you live, and I don’t want to know either. But listen up: if I see you near Aahana again, I’ll take you to a place where you’ll never be able to return. That will be your last day. Got it? You can ask around here and find out what happens to people who mess with me. I’m telling you nicely—go back to where you belong.”
Finishing those words, Rohan started dragging Aahana away, speaking as he walked:
Rohan: “How many times have I told you not to mix with other guys or talk to them? I can’t stand it. Still, you want to talk, so I let it go. But now, you’ve gone beyond that, starting to actually fall for them. How long should I tolerate this? Today it’s him, tomorrow it’ll be someone else. How could you do this?”
“Picked up from the street by my parents, raised up so well, and I’ve loved you so much. Now, you’ve forgotten everything. Every day, you’re fooling around with some guy. Why? What did I do wrong? And if I am wrong, why did you love me in the first place?”
Meanwhile, Aahana’s hand was hurting from the tight grip, but Rohan didn’t seem to notice.
Aahana: “Ah, it hurts! Sir, please let go, let go! I’m in pain. Please, I beg you!”
Aahana was pleading earnestly, but nothing was getting through to Rohan. He was dragging her away, ignoring her cries.
