The Beginning (Ch1)
Earth’s Life After Death
Since the beginning of time, there has been a rock. This rock was cold and empty, devoid of all life except for one woman. This woman called herself “Earth.” Earth lived lonely and silent for years until she passed away, and her bones decayed into the ground. Her soul fed into the rock she had called home. The rock essentially became her second chance at life. She created plants and greenery. For eons, the plants tried and failed to grow. Earth cared for them as well as she could, but there was no light, or warmth, to thrive on.
During this time, Sun noticed that Earth, unlike the other souls, had been trying to create life that simply could not live. Sun sat watching from a distance. Along with her, she brought Cloud and her children. Earth was confused and scared as she had never seen another being until then. She spoke cautiously,
“H- Hello? Who might you be?”
Upon being spoken to, Sun drew closer, sitting nearby. Earth turned away, averting her eyes from Sun because light as bright and hot as fire radiated from her. Sun spoke with a smile,
“Greetings, little one. My name is Sun, and this is my friend Cloud. I hope you don’t mind her children. In any case, we would like to help you. We have seen your struggles, and we’d like to see if we may assist you. I’m sure if we work together, we shall find a solution!”
