Persephone
So CasperFox did a version of Hades for God Games (wasn’t in the musical or song but he still did it) and I thought “why not do a Persephone version for the musical?”
So here’s how I think Persephone would be in God Games:
Her background music is similar to Scylla. But it's really a mix of Scylla and Would You Fall In Love With Me Again. Her musical instrument is a music box.
Her vocals are like Scylla and Calypso's vocals; calm and soothing, almost charming. Like a mother's soothing voice while she's singing to her baby.
She understands how Odysseus feels being away from his wife. She often has to leave her husband every spring and summer. She doesn't argue with Athena; it's more like she talks Athena into a debate. She likes to challenge the goddess of wisdom any chance she gets when she's up on Earth/Mount Olympus, to see how much she's grown in wisdom.
The Song:
(normal: Persephone; italics: Athena)
Long time no see, owlette
(Persephone, Persephone)
Little wolf,
how sad is he?
With Calypso his capturer
away from his family
That should show him
not to think and be so rash
And cool down from his attacks
It would bring him some peace
I’d say leave him to cool down
He’s been away from his home for far too long
Far from his family and love
His heart and soul always taken advatage of
Let him go so he can be with his love
You should know how he feels
You have always been waiting
Waiting
For love
Being away from my husband is different
He knows I always come back
But what about his wife?
She doesn’t know if he’ll be back
She has been waiting
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting
For him
Take him home. Take him to his Penelope.
