Hiro Watanabe est un lycéen ordinaire, sans ambition ni passion. Il passe ses journées à somnoler en classe et ses nuits à enchaîner des animés, enfermé dans une routine monotone. Son existence paisible, bien que vide de sens, lui convient parfaitement… jusqu’au jour où tout bascule. Une nuit, alors qu’il fait un rêve lucide, une silhouette familière apparaît devant lui : sa sœur jumelle, Haruka, décédée dix ans plus tôt dans un tragique accident. D’abord convaincu qu’il s’agit d’une simple illusion de son subconscient, Hiro finit par accepter l’étrange réalité : Haruka est bien là, dans cet espace onirique qui devient peu à peu leur jardin secret. À travers ces rêves, frère et sœur retrouvent une complicité brisée par la mort. Ensemble, ils revivent des souvenirs d’enfance, explorent des mondes façonnés par leur imagination et tentent de rattraper le temps perdu. Mais au fil des nuits, des énigmes émergent : Pourquoi Haruka lui apparaît-elle maintenant ? Ces rêves sont-ils simplement le fruit de son esprit, ou cachent-ils un mystère plus profond ? Un jour, sans avertissement, Haruka disparaît de ses rêves. Son absence laisse un vide insupportable, réveillant en Hiro une douleur qu’il croyait enfouie depuis longtemps. Désespéré, il se lance alors dans une quête, déterminé à ramener sa sœur dans leurs jardins secrets.
