Feathers - MLP Canon x OC Au

Summary

Noah the Bloodfang doesn't like herds. At least, she would, if her own herd allowed her to ever see the Equestrian herds, the ones that live in houses like Humans. All horses know to avoid Humans at all costs. They kill what they can't control, and Noah wants no part in them, or the horses that live in the Equestrian herds. But then she meets a beautiful Pegasus with white fur and blue eyes, one who seems to know everything. Zipp is honestly tired of being a princess. It's already hard enough trying to get her mother to remember her name, and that she isn't ready to take the throne, or that she's a detective (she seems to forget this often). But then she meets a mysterious black and red Pony who doesn't act like any Pony she's ever met, who also doesn't seem to know anything that she asks the stranger about. She doesn't even know what technology is, which is strange, seeing how every pony in Equestria always have their noses in it. But something about this carefree yet curious pony keeps drawing her in.

Author's Note

Noah here. I actually had this idea for a while, if there was a Pegasus that wasn't as focused on friendship and unity as normal Equestrians are. Also, this one lives in "wild" families, and also don't know what ponies are. Or technology. Or pancakes. That's kinda important in the Au, just bear with me here. Noah is actually based off my main fursona, who's a black and red raptor-canine hybrid with mismatched eyes and antlers. No, Noah doesn't have antlers, but I did consider it. I might add a separate deer species with antlers though...

Disclaimer: this is not the cutesy little friendship-unity-rainbows thing that the canon My Little Pony is. There is blood, slight gore, strong language, ptsd/traumatic triggers, animal death, mental scenes, slight inappropriate/suggestive content, and mind/psychological scenes. I will add a disclaimer if any scenes have any of those, and if you are sensitive to any of these, do not read it. You have been warned.

Special thanks to my brother and my mother, the members of my herd that strengthen my fight, quicken my hooves, and sharpen my eyes.

Enjoy the story and may the gods light your path.

     Fly true,

Noah
