Summary

In high school, the six of us formed the Razor Monkees. We’ve always been thick as thieves, and we’ve become our own little found family. But one of my best friends in particular has always owned my heart. Every time I turn, Dalton is right there. He’s always been my shoulder to lean on. My confidante. The one person in this entire world I can always rely on. But we become huge. We’re officially rockstars. And now, we can afford to live somewhere bigger where we no longer have to share rooms and we can all have our own space. It should be a great thing. Something amazing to look forward to. But I’m spiraling. I can’t function without Dalton. I need him close by. It doesn’t matter that we live in the same part of the house. No longer having his things in my space, no longer having him so close by, no longer sharing a bed more often than not, is dragging me down. Confessing all of this to him could ruin everything. And our band has already almost fallen apart once. I won’t be the reason everything may truly end this time. But I don’t know how long I can hold on without him as my crutch anymore. Depression is absolute hell… And it’s dragging me down into the pits with it.
