"For one, I chose to read this story because I absolutely adore Kitsune mythology and your story was the only one to show up. At first I was very confused, because well, there wasn't a whole lot of Kitsune showing up, and then you introduced Blaise into the story and I began to see the similarities and differences between your description and the myths. I do enjoy the plotline, although I think your description of the action scenes could be more descriptive, although, being from Thea's point of view, I suppose a blurred perspective does work. I also would like to see more fleshing out of some of the characters such as Joe, Sammy, and Maisee. I can tell that Blaise will be fleshed out over the course of the rest of the story due to being a mystery to Thea in general, but the others are close with her from the get-go, yet her connections don't seem... as personal? Overall, I found this to be a wonderful start to a novel. I would love to be able to read more of it, if you have a published ebook or hard copy, I would love to be able to find a copy.
