Birds Of a Feather

Because I am sincere

So wherever I am lost

I will be found.

The tides will guide me,

With the energies of the moon behind me,

To my friends far or near.

Because I bare my face unto the sun.

Because I own what it is I've done.

Because I am still a princess even when the clock strikes one.

Because my character is the one dress that encased in my own choice that cannot be undone.

And,

Like a lighthouse i will carry with me the deeds I've done,

The songs I have sung,

And The ones I have loved.

Shine a light to my wayward ones,

So i can beckon those meant for me to come.

Not at a walk,

But at a run.

“Live your eulogy”

So I've heard the wise ones say.

As I am learning that both actions and words each have their day.

Just as free will have its way,

Just as the sun will set,

And Dawn will come to play.

And i am here to say,

That whenever you are lost,

You will be found.

And wherever you are tossed,

Eventually you will be sound.

Congregated, nestled closely amongst others whose characters bear similar Wows.

Like birds of a feather,

Cut from the same cloth,

Fired from the same embers.

Just close your eyes and put an ear close to the ground,

follow the pitter patter of footsteps as they resound.

Make sure to take a left when you reach the mound,

And when you get to the end of the narrow path only few have found make sure to turn around.

So that way when the waiting for you ends,

It ends for me too.

And i can happily exclaim

With no guilt nor shame,

The very phrase,

“Hey, come in!

“I've been waiting for you."
