take care

"When you write, its personal. this is your baby and when people say critical things it hurts more than they realize. I also have ADHD and i have learned to not read things that impact me so harshly unless I am in the UP mood. please take care. You have to hone your craft and part of that is sharing it with a reading audience. "

It's all over the place

"The summary lists the basic plot, it reads like several I have read before. Wife escapes from an abusive husband, ends up with a Biker gang or MC if you prefer, that takes her in and helps her out. However, I swear half this book is missing. It's just weird. It jumps all over the place, the female lead has been abused but nothing directly is said about it other than the summary. Which doesn't bother me really, I can avoid the horror of reading what happened to her and just take it on faith. But, her list of skills reads like a high IQ savante, except that isn't mentioned. In the 9 chapters published so far here are her list of skills. Trained mechanic on Cars and Trucks Dance School teacher and Stripper, supposedly got her through college Plays Drums and other Rock band instruments, met a group of guys in High school who formed a pro band. Trained cook. Speaks Russian and Italian. Professional Singer She meets a group of guys in a band when she was 10, plays in the band before they hit it big, she writes the song that got them a contract. Her Brother is in the band, I think. It's vague. Her parents are killed when she was young and she ends up with her Uncle who abuses her. Why didn't she have the option of going to her Brother? A member of the band has an Italian Mafia Don for a father, she's been to Italy to meet them, supposedly before she turned 18, yet she doesn't call them when her Husband abuses her? It's kind of explained that she was embarrassed, but really? They could have fixed everything and disappeared the husband, which then negates the story as written. Yet she doesn't. She goes into a restaurant as she is running from her now ex husband, who apparently didn't let her leave after the divorce, which isn't realistic. Is taken in by a stranger in the diner nearly immediately after entering it. She is given an apartment and a job a breath later and then introduced to the MC. Two members immediately adopt her, along with a third who is gay. Yet over a year later she is in a platonic relationship with all three of them, plus Austin the band member who comes in later on. Supposedly her Uncle and husband are searching for her, the Uncle nearly finds her when she meets the band members but turns out to be a fake with a life like mask. Is she 007? In the last chapter she is grabbed by another MC's member and rather than telling her boyfriends, who are right there, she calls the Mafia Don and he shows up the deal with it. It's like she goes out of her way to find the most indirect path to fix the issue. This is the story that can't figure itself out. Hopefully we get some clarity at some point but I don't think the author knows where this is going. There's some minor misspellings and wrong words used, but nothing that can't be ignored. "
