Chapter 46 Forty Six
Why must I always wake up in pain? The sound of thumping paws splashing splattering was heard with creeks and snaps a fallen tree branches making it impossible not to know they were coming my way.
The sounds snapped me out of my haze and made me realize where I was. It was dark really dark. I couldn’t see anything I had to focus a little trying to tap into my wolf’s senses to help me see.
I was cold and I was wet, lighting cascaded through the night sky and thunder rumbled and boomed through the night sky above me. I t was raining I was outside in the cold rain in the middle of Forest! I didn’t know how I got here all I knew is that the louds the sounds of running lycans was getting faster and faster and louder and louder.
Finally, maybe someone noticed my disappearance and has come to rescue me, they might have brought people with them too. Could it be Killian? Could he be searching for me? Was he worried? I didn’t dare move at the thought of my stitches opening up and bleeding out. I hadn’t quite healed yet from the arrow wounds on my abdomen and now as I sat here in the middle of the forest with the rain colliding down on me. My pale cold body is shivering it’s hard to focus.
The air smelled decayed, I sniffed the air a bit more the smell of blood waffled through my nostrils and I tensed at its potency. Wait I’m not hurt, I pressed my hands all over me trying to find to Pat myself down to find the open wound but there was no opened wound o on me despite the fact that I was covered head-to-toe with blood, on my hands, my tour so my hair even my feet had blood my body was drenched in blood.
I touched my face the taste of something metallic punctured through my frightened state. Did I hunt while I was passed out?
No I didn’t Hunt. I didn’t know how to hunt yet and there was no carcass in site so why did my mouth taste of blood and how the hell I end up here.
then I remember it all. The five bear shifters that preached through the door and hitting me with the dart. The dart had been a tranquilizer, no wonder it took me a while to remember it all.
I had fallen asleep and when I woke, I had woken up here, in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a forest with blood covering every part of me, blood that wasn’t mind. did I kill them? I wasn’t strong enough to kill Five Bear shifters alone, but then again I don’t know my limits. I hadn’t ever changed before as far as I know maybe I had.
I tried to reach out to my wolf, but my mind was still, I couldn’t hear her, at first I panicked, my couldn’t be dead and then I realized that I could feel her presence at the farthest ends of my mind it was faint but it was there. She was asleep, and nothing I did woke her from her peaceful slumber, it had never happened before, she never retreated she was always there guiding me ever so slightly, always calling out to me. She never rested not unless she wanted me to have full reign of something and even then she’d be there just observing paying attention to every detail ready to jump in when we were in trouble or when I couldn’t handle something. She was me and I was her, we were never at odd end what she felt I felt when I sleep, she sleep s but now she’s silent and the silence haunts me a bit.
I sat there contemplating what to do next. I couldn’t stand, I couldn’t walk my legs was sore slashed really, I had cuts and wounds in different places.
The thought of maybe the wolves that were now coming were not here to save me but here to finish what the bear shifters had begun, it made my blood run cold,
What is happening! Why is this all so fucked up! And why do I get the feeling something bad is about to happen, that haunting feeling was above me again. I couldn’t cute shake the bad luck that I had unnaturally possessed since birth, everything that could go wrong always went wrong for me.
Was I cursed?
A deep and vicious grown rang through The silence of the forest, it was loud enough to silence the sound of thunder. A large grey wolf walked up first his form larger than the ten large wolves behind him snarling viciously and their eyes shone but the largest one’s eyes shown brighter, his form dominating and powerful, his eye’s red and tempting. I knew almost immediately it was Killian.
