Where is the love between them?
"The book started at 200 km/h - with the curiosity it brought, with the plot, with the tension and the connection to Philip's inner world. Then time passed and things got a little strange or dragged on too long. There wasn't really a love story. I waited and waited for their relationship to come to life, but it didn't happen. Even if it was a dark and complicated romance, there was no excitement/tension/love between the characters. It feels like waiting for a main character for an entire season to do a heroic deed and then nothing at the end. Philip was deep and spiritual in his love, and it stopped there and didn't receive any feedback. It was very interesting at first until the middle of the book, and then for me it stopped."
