"Even though this was short I still loved that the man loved his wife until his very last breathe I was happy that he fought for his wife but I was also sad that he had to give up his life to safe hers but I wish the wife would have came and saved her husband's life but I also understand that not all stories have a happy ending "

Upon reviewing my own story
"To get this started I'm putting in my own thoughts of what I wrote. PLEASE NOTE THIS FOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT READ FOR HER, SILENCE. For starters, the story is about a nameless man against a hitman who cannot comprehend the depths of the man's love. What follows is a tense, psychological bucket of pressure from the hitman. The story echoes classic tragedy, but ends up as a converse tragedy yet still a tragedy—meaning it follows the structure and emotional weight of a tragedy, but the character’s defeat is also a victory, so that what lingers in the mind long after the final shot is the philosophical weight behind it. He dies yet he never betrays his wife, the hitman is the one shaken, and it doesn’t end in despair. I call it a tragic victory or a martyr’s ending. At its core, this is not a story of action, but of resistance. The story builds to its inevitable conclusion, a sort of noir you could say. His whispered final words, "Lord have mercy," is not a surrender. I ask you a simple question, who had true power here? "
