Quirky, thoughtful, and often lost in her own world, she struggles to connect with most people but finds comfort in the things she loves: anime, animals, and writing. Social situations can be overwhelming, but when she’s behind a keyboard or deep in a football analysis, everything makes sense.
Raised in a driven household, Makayla grew up with a high-profile sports agent for a father and a successful dermatologist for a mother. Despite being surrounded by ambition, she often feels like the odd one out, caught between her older sister, Aaliyah (20), who always seemed to have it all figured out, and her younger brother, Jeremiah (14), who effortlessly charms his way through life.

He doesn’t talk about it much, just like he doesn’t talk about the feelings he refuses to acknowledge.
