"Never Imagined 1950's communist Europe could be this hot! The characters are very well fleshed out and incredibly horny but the plot, in its Bildungsroman style, is often gripping. Although some chapters could do with editing and a reread, the dive in post war eastern Europe and the political strife of daily life in post revolutionary Romania is well rendered, the tidbits about oriental European folklore and theoretical mathematics are particularly nice. well worth a read if you are into MM romance with smut and dark violent context. "
Hot and endearing
