Excellent Storyline
"I absolutely loved this book. Recommending the story was easy. I totally loved this author's writing style and the way the characters were developed into each chapter. The author did however leave the reader hanging at the end with an unfinished tale. This story really, really needs a continuation. A book two perhaps. I feel like there is a lot more story to tell regarding Kai and Juliette. "
Domination at any price
"This was a tough read for me, imagine 50 shades but the Domination is expected, demanded, and when refused is set up to allow no recourse for the female lead. For most of the story I enjoyed seeing the twists and turns. The Male lead was brilliant in what he wanted to do and making it happen, all while looking like he was just helping out. But as you make the turn to the last 15 chapters his mask comes off and you see him for who he really is. He wants what he can't have and completely destroys the female lead, backing her into a corner where he is the only refuge. The ending was as expected as it was unsatisfying. Imagine a deal made at the crossroads, you have what you want, knowing all the while the price will come due eventually. Except the female lead didn't make the deal, but was burdened with the cost regardless. If a sequel appears I won't continue. It's too far outside my comfort zone to enjoy. Having said that, if you enjoy this type of story then I would honestly have to say it delivered. The twists and turns were masked beautifully. The outcome of the court case was masterful in its Finale. The relationship between the Female lead and her boyfriend looked rock solid at the beginning and then like a loose thread it unraveled. It reminds me of the movie Jagged Edge. You are so sure of where it's going and then you aren't. "
