Book hit me like a freight train
"The book starts as a sweet story about finding out who you are. About getting to terms with your orientation. A bit of bullying. Sexual awakening. It's beautiful. And then? Then the story turns into something much deeper. It keeps asking how much it costs to stay who you are when the world is an ugly shithole. It's a story of representation. Of pain. And of hope. Of love - and what it MEANS to truly love. It's a story that doesn't pretend love fixes anything. Love makes it worse. And love still - after everything - is worth it. I cried. For the entire second half of the book. I cried again hours after I finished it. This book touched something deep and it will stay with me for a long time. If you want escapism and steamy sex: This book isn't for you. If you want to carry a story with you: READ THIS! URGENTLY!"

"This was a wonderful story Jamie's and Louis' story was perfect it was amazing and I loved it so much they went through a lot especially when Jamie paralyzed protecting Louis I cried when he almost died but Louis' love brought him back! My book babies! I'm happy for them! Maybe we can another story of them some day I recommend this story who loves a good coming to age story!"
