Flame dancers

I just get home from school and I'm exhausted even though I missed two of my classes and now hoping they won't call my mother because it's will be end of me literally.

I open the door and get in my room as I throw my school bag on the floor and sink in my bed. I sit up as I rub my face and thought "i should really get cleaned up". One thing that kept this day good is that it's Friday so my torture was over at least two days. I get up, clean up my room a bit and change into pajamas.

I sit down on my bed to continue my book as my mother called "y/n come down I made a dinner" she said.

I groan as I get up and walk downstairs, I walk in kitchen as I saw my mum have already set up the table. "Sit down dear" she said with smile.

I sit down as I picked the fork to eat the pasta my mom made, "thank you for the dinner" I say with bored expression .

Mother pick up the glass of water as she sip and put it down "so you been missing the classes this two days" she said with calm tone that gave me chills and I also choke on my food. My mother was looking at me waiting for me to answer.

I look away avoiding her gaze "Can we talk about it later?" I said .

My mother sighed as she said "Y/n you can't keep missing them, exams are really close. You need to focus"

I rub my face as I push plate away "Lost my appetite" I said as I stand up not looking at mum and I head back to my room.

I lay down on my back facing up at the ceiling, I groan loudly "Fuck it" I said as I slip into the sheets, my typical way to avoid this life: sleeping.

I close my eyes ready to slip into my dreams, minutes passed as I saw flash of lightning behind my closed eyes and my body go numb before i couldn't feel it anymore, I try to open my eyes but it felt like it was stuck, another flash of lightning and I Shot up on my bed as I look around oddly familiar place. What's up with this pinkish room?
