0.1 The Clumsy One and The Dad
“AAHHH!!!!” A scream echoed from the convenience store late at night. “OUCH!! MY FOOT GOT CAUGHT IN A MOUSE TRAP!!!” cried a young lady in pain while doing something inside. “Pfft-” A short man approached, trying to hold back his laughter after hearing the lady’s words “OH, COME ON! HELP ME!” the lady groaned while enduring the pain in her foot. Without saying much after stifling his laughter, he helped her. “This is what happens when you insist on looking for evidence in the dark,” the man teased while chuckling again. “Well, you know how I am...” the lady pouted, clearly annoyed. “Yeah, yeah, yeah... Now you’d better go to the car and tell the store owner that there are no mice—someone’s been stealing when he wasn’t paying attention,” the man said softly. The lady walked toward the car, following his instructions. “Hey, Perrick! Bring me some ice cream will you??” the lady shouted from the store entrance. “Seriously? Now? Noelle, it’s the middle of the night,” Perrick replied, his voice filled with disbelief. “What? Can’t I?” Noelle pouted even more, making Perrick even more confused. “Alright, fine...” Perrick sighed, giving in to her request.
“PERRICKK‼” Noelle suddenly screamed louder. Perrick rushed toward her with a panicked expression. “KYAAAA‼! THE CAT IS SO CUTE‼!” Noelle squealed, overwhelmed by the adorable feline. Perrick, with a disappointed face, stood there in silence. “Uh, excuse me, where’s the restroom?” asked a man wearing a black mask, carrying a large bag, appearing out of nowhere. “Restroom... Hold on, let me remember,” Perrick replied while trying to recall. “Ohhh, if I’m not mistaken, it’s over there,” he said, pointing to the back of the store without the slightest suspicion. “Thanks, man. I’m here to rob the place, but nature calls,” the masked man said anxiously before hurrying off in the pointed direction. “Uh...” Something clicked in Perrick’s mind as he began connecting the dots. “A mask... Big bag... Says he’s robbing... Robbing who...” he muttered while piecing things together. “THAT’S THE ROBBER, PERRICK! OH MY GOD‼” Noelle shouted in panic. “Eh, no way, what kind of robber openly admits it?” Perrick argued. “Fair point...” Noelle agreed, though still confused. Both of them curiously turned their gaze toward the masked man. "CLANG‼" The sound of metal hitting something hard echoed. It was none other than the masked man’s head. “Yeah, I guess you were right,” Noelle admitted, her voice dripping with disappointment. Perrick and Noelle tied up the masked man and brought him to the nearest police station.
