What is your opinion?
Its Just Elevator Music
"The story is good and has kept me interested so far. I definitely love the plot, characters and the story structure. I like how the story doesn't just focus on the two main characters, it also tells the story of how the other characters interact with the two main characters. I am looking forward to reading more from this author."
I enjoyed it.
"I like the story very much. It is imaginative as I read it and pictures of it comes in front of me. I would recommend this book to my friend. I think the rating I was given is fair enough."
Yareli and Ki-Seung try denying the inevitable
"A deal is struck after getting stuck in the elevator. Both Ki-Seung and Yareli entered into the deal for their own respective reasons. The more time they spent together they realized that it was more than a contract deal. Their growing attraction shocked and confused them, but the once they stopped fighting it, they knew they were exactly what each other needed. I recommend this to anyone who loves a good easy read. The story was well written and you find yourself rooting for Ki-Seung and Yareli. "
Your next romance obsession!!!
"If you're looking for a quick read to warm your heart and make you chuckle, look no further! I want to first start off by saying the dialogue in this story is what really drew me in. The way Ki-Seung and Yareli communicate from the very beginning is just heartwarmingly honest, even when they're being rude to one another. Their relationship quickly turning into something so profound and beautiful is what kept me wanting more. What's going to happen next? Is someone going to expose them? Maybe even his own team because they don't agree with how serious it's becoming... Or maybe he gives up everything to be with her? Just some questions/thoughts I had after finishing chapter 6. I also noted how much I love the brutal honesty of literally everyone around them. The recognition of what black women deal with in both the entertainment industry and on a day-to-day basis in the real-world is so touching. Not everyone will feel this way, but as a black woman I have been told I am less attractive than those with lighter skin and longer hair. I have also witnessed men bring us down by comparing us to the beauty standards of a white or Hispanic woman (no shade to my girls!!) So, to read about Yareli's experience and how she handles it with confidence and grace is meaningful to me. Regarding the actual writing, while the story is engaging, it leaves a lot of room for imagination. If that's intentional, I love that! However, I feel like some portions could've been either extended or more detailed to further immerse readers into their love story and even personal struggles and childhoods. (As they're finally comfortable opening up to each other). There are also several tiny punctuation errors, mostly with the dialogue. As writers we get into a groove and sometimes forget to end a quote etc. Friendly suggestion to reread published chapters on the look-out for those minor errors. The cover art and title are unmatched. You're very cool. Overall, the plotline, pacing, character development, and romance make this book worth reading! Great job so far, Hatchin777! Keep writing, please!"
Such a cute fake-dating romance!
"I'm really enjoying Yareli and Ki-Seung's story. I'm also a sucker for a good fake-dating trope! I think you do a wonderful job of keeping the pace moving in the story, but I would just be mindful of the head-hopping. I don't mind it, but I think some times the POV switches between Yareli and Ki-Seung quite quickly, that I had to double check whose head the thoughts were coming from. This isn't a bad thing and it's definitely your writing style, but just be careful how quickly it switches. The emotional description and metaphors are absolutely excellent. My favorite was how you described Yareli and Ki-Seung meeting- the sun and Uranus metaphor. Absolutely spot on! I'd love to see more descriptions of how Ki-Seung and Yareli look as well as the setting they're in. The city they're visiting at the moment, I'm not sure I can see it in my mind. Those are little things you can develop as you write the story. I can't wait to see how more of this story unfolds. It's got such a cute plot and lovely characters! Keep going because I can tell this story is going to be amazing and I'm hoping for a beautiful happy ending! "
