Preface
This is a science fiction novel set in a planet called Waterball, not the Earth. The species inhabited in this planet remain undefined, thus referred with neutral pronouns like “it” or “they” avoiding anthropocentric words. This novel contains mature themes and politically incorrect thus unsuitable for minors or sensitive readers.
Having not formally studied literature after high school, my prose draws eclectic inspiration from classics like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margins, Journey to the West, The Plum in the Golden Vase, and The Three-Body Problem. The narrative intentionally shifts in tone and structure, reflecting my whimsical drafting process. Revisions are frequent, and reader feedback is welcome if logically sound.
I avoid contrived conflicts, resulting in a subdued plot. Named characters basically won’t perish—my mercy spares them—but unnamed entities? As the Buddhist saying goes: “A bowl of water holds eighty-four thousand microbes.” You exterminate countless organisms daily while cooking, right? Read them as an omniscient observer, not a participant. Finally, respecting modern attention spans, this work will not exceed 100,000 characters.
This translation was prepared by Kimi and Deepseek with all citations removed during the process. Refer to the original text for citation if ya have interest in that.

Synopsis
In Waterball’s BeiTu country, a corporate employee from the capital city embarked on a doomed rescue mission to MianLin country, failed to recover a kidnapping victim and retrieved only remains. After vengeance, the protagonist—under a lieutenant’s instigation—establishes the NanTu Empire.
The empire first conquers MianLin and other nations, then expands across Waterball’s territories except BeiTu. Protagonist later declares war on BeiTu, only to surrender immediately after hostilities begin, merging entirely into BeiTu.
