Au Japon, les prénoms étranges peuvent avoir de fâcheuses conséquences mais pas que… Les prénoms « bizarres » aux yeux des japonais sont appelés dokyun names (prénom stupide). C’est le cas de Fuun (malchance en japonais) jeune homme de 17 ans qui vient d’être transféré dans un prestigieux Lycée à Tokyo réservé à l’élite du pays pour une raison bien morose. Le rêve pour n’importe qui… sauf que dans son cas, c’est plutôt un champ de mines En effet, Fuun porte admirablement bien son prénom car malgré son mètre 88, un charisme invraisemblable, une prestance naturel à faire pâlir un acteur de drama ainsi que des résultats scolaires remarquables la vie semble bien décidée à enfoncer le clou car son talent principal est d’attirer la poisse comme un aimant géant.. Mais derrière ses galères quotidiennes se cache un objectif secret qu’il est bien décidé à atteindre, qu’importent les tuiles qui lui tombent sur la tête (littéralement, parfois). Saura-t-il déjouer le destin et prouver que son prénom ne définit pas son avenir ?
