Summary

A son was born from the infidelity of Poseidon and was cast off because of his mothers fear towards the gods. He was then found by sirens who took him in and raised him as their own, teaching him the way of the waves to survive, and teaching him the importance of the lost cities in the deep. After growing up in their care, Zael found himself wondering about his actual family, and his mortal side. Going for a search to find his father he was met face to face with Poseidon’s gates, after a vicious fight, Poseidon recognized his kin and rekindled. After the precious moment, he asked about his mother, which Poseidon has not heard of since the parting. He only provided scarce information about her, and that alone ignited Zael to embark in a journey to find his mother, not wondering if she is dead or alive.

Birth of a Hidden Legacy, Shrouded by Betrayl

Zael was born under the shadow of betrayal and secrecy. His existence was a spark ignited by forbidden love, a love that should never have been—a mortal woman and a god whose union defied the heavens themselves.

Poseidon, the mighty god of the seas, had fallen for Callista, a woman unlike any he had ever encountered. She was not a queen, a nymph, or a goddess, but a mortal with an unyielding spirit and a mind as vast as the ocean he ruled. An archaeologist, a seeker of lost truths, she had dedicated her life to uncovering the ruins of civilizations swallowed by time and tide. In her relentless pursuit of knowledge, she ventured where no others dared, walking the ocean’s edge and deciphering the whispers of history buried beneath sand and stone.

It was there, amidst the ruins of a city the gods had long abandoned, that Poseidon saw her for the first time. Unlike mortals who prayed in reverence or fear, Callista treated the past as something alive, something worth unraveling. And in her, Poseidon found something he had never sought before—not mere beauty, but understanding.

Their love was a tempest—wild, passionate, yet hidden beneath the surface like the currents beneath a calm sea. Poseidon knew the wrath his affair would invoke, especially from his wife, Amphitrite, the formidable queen of the ocean. And so, he kept Callista a secret, meeting her beneath the cover of moonlight, where the waves lapped at their feet and the stars bore silent witness to their devotion.

But no secret remains hidden forever.
