Summary

Bullying is bad. Popularity is worse. But there is nothing compared to the feeling that you are alone. One of the primary needs of being human is the want and need that you need to belong, that you should somehow fit into the puzzle perfectly with everyone else. But sometimes, you can't fit in with the people you are around, you can't fit in anywhere. And when that happens, that's when the monsters that we hide in our heads comes out to play.

All Beginnings

All beginnings start with life, or so the stories are told.

This beginning starts with Death.

Death isn’t so bad, I’ve met with him a handful of times. But he doesn’t enjoy his life. He doesn’t enjoy spending this eternity taking lives.

Because although Death may vary from person to person and culture to culture, he took one life that was more painful to him that caused him to look forward to the day he would be replaced.

Evtida: It was a very sweet story, but it felt rushed. It didn't really convey the emotions. For example, when the girl was kidnapped, instead of panicking, going crazy, and causing a scene, giving in felt strange... His exaggerated relationship with his gay friend was also odd in my opinion.

Natasha Evermoor: This is really intriguing and emotionally intense. I like the way Joshua can truly change, or if Fleur is slowly getting pulled into something dangerous without realizing it. By the way, I love your book cover!
