If you leave, don’t return
Xael
I look at my princesses results with pride. Notonly did the girls excel in their studies, but they also beat Xylon and Xena’srecords by a huge margin. They have been recorded in the Guinness book ofrecords.
“Can I buy them their jets now?” I ask my wifewho rolls her eyes at me. She thinks I am a softie with the girls. She isright.
I chuckle and wrap my arms around her waist. Her infatuating scent immediately fills my nostrils.
“Don’t be jealous, you were a genius in yourtime,” I tease and burst out into laughter when she knocks my ribs with herelbow.
“Oh, come on, Love. They deserve the jets andmore.”
“Yes, they do. I can’t believe that it took somuch yelling for them to get to this,” she affirms and complains. The girls didpush her limit. I sometimes think they do it on purpose.
We are still talking when Xaden walks intalking to someone over the phone.
“Yes, special editions,” he tells the personover the phone.
I don’t know what the person says but hisresponse is, “I know how much they cost…. Yes, I want two of them…….. Yes, Isaid two.”
Xena laughs and turns to me. “It looks likeyour son beat you to it. You two are so predictable.”
I frown before it occurs to me that Xaden isbuying special edition jets for his sisters. He has been begging Xena on theirbehalf for months now. I guess he has decided to do it without asking anymore.
“Mother, Father,” he greets when he finallygets off the phone.
“Arrangements are in order for the trip toFallow. We will avoid flying over R, and F-packs, just in case. I have sortedout the security at the venue. We should have no problems during the graduationceremony.”
I give him a warm smile and a pat on hisshoulders. Our boy has grown to be the most responsible and powerful Alpha ofour pack.
“Have you catered for their mates?” Xena asksand he confirms. He is very efficient this son of ours.
“I hear you are planning a weeklong party?”Xena asks with her usual amused tone. Xaden never mentioned this to us, but mywife is always ahead of all our kids.
“They deserve it, Mother. They…”
“Relax, I approve,” Xena interjects and sticksher tongue at Xaden, whom I am certain was about to argue the whole day tothrow this party for his sisters.
“I also know about the extra money you weresending them behind my back whenever I grounded them,” Xena continues, rendering our son speechless.
“I wonder how you are going to survive whenthey go to completely different continents,” she adds.
“Do they have to?”
I can’t help but laugh. I have a soft spot forthe girls, but Xaden is worse.
“Yes, Queens do have to stay in theircontinents, Son.”
“But maybe they could convince their mates toremain here,” he suggests. I don’t think he gets it just yet.
“Sure. Why not? Their mates should just give uptheir power and desert their packs to be your sisters’ lapdogs.”
“Fine. I can’t help it. They are my babysisters. What if they are not treated well there?”
Xena and I burst out into laughter.
“I bet they will call you and whine until theyare given the moon and stars. I actually feel sorry for their mates.”
“Mother!” Xaden cries.
We are still teasing Xaden when Xara calls.
“Princess?”
I frown, my heart immediately starts racingwhen I hear her heavy breathing. She is upset about something.
“Father…they…they have Xandra…”
“Okay, breathe and tell me what is going on,” Iurge and put her on a loudspeaker right when Nadia, Xylon, and Amy, walk in.
“Roy took Xandra. He injected something on herneck that knocked her out. I am in pursuit of his car.”
My whole-body tenses and fists clench. R-packhas not learned their lesson. I will wipe them out of this earth once and forall.
“Where are you?” Xaden jumps in, his whole facealready trembling with rage. He will kill for his sisters on any day.
“V-pack highway. It looks like they are headingto R-pack.”
“We will meet you there,” Xaden says takes astep towards the door. I plan on following him. We freeze when Xena responds.
“No, we won’t.”
“Mother?” Xaden questions. I am just asconfused. Xena does not even bother explaining herself but starts interrogatingXara.
“How did Roy get to Xandra?”
There is silence and I can already guess. Thisis going to be a long day.
“Fallow is completely secured. You two were toremain within premises until your graduation. I will ask again, Princess, howdid Roy get to your sister,” Xena presses on.
“This is not the time, Mother, Roy is abastard. He is…”
Xena lifts her hand, stopping Xaden fromtalking. Her ‘don’t you dare’ expression is enough to shut Xaden up.
“I am listening, Princess.”
Xara starts crying, raising my protective side.
“We…we…”
“You what?” Xena yells, startling all of us.
“We sneaked out to go to a party off campus. There was no party. Roy lured us there. It was a trap. I am sorry, Mother,”Xara blurts out and weeps.
“Well, crying won’t fix this. You better wipethose tears and go save your equally stupid twin.”
“Mother, please,” my princess starts pleadingbut Xena looks the least bothered. She is tougher with the girls that she waswith Xaden and Xylon.
Xaden and I exchange looks. I guess this is theday we will go against my mate. There is no way in hell that I will let R-packhave my princess.
“You fucked-up. Go fix it and bring your twinback or don’t come back,” Xena says and ends the call before turning to us.
She walks around me, then Xaden and lets out anempty laugh.
“You have decided to go against me. If youleave here today, don’t return.”
“Babe?” I question, my heart breaking. Shemeans it. I love my girls, but I can’t live without my mate.
“What is it going to be, Xael?”
