Life is strange, but for Kayden Grayson, strange was normal.

I looked out the window of my cabin. The sky was casting of its nightly attire off stepping into a blue and white polka-dotted shirt, proud to be majestically lit up by the sun. Its shirt stained with orange, red, and purple. Another day with more problems.

I sat at my desk, sipped at my coffee, and continued to scrutinize the files placed before me. If only I knew how dad made the business run so well, then life would be on track.

"Morning, sir," I heard a voice call out. I picked my head up slowly, the bones unsettled from its position. Oh,the undeniable pain. Thoughts raced through my mind as I looked up and saw her horrified expression. Was it all over? Was mom really....? Possibilities floated in the air as I pried her for details. "He is coming" was all she said. A part of me that assumed she was referring to Dad brimmed with happiness. "The client from the USA is arriving in a few days."her voice was trembling. My happiness faded like the stain on the sky. Slowly, but before I knew it, it was gone.

I took a deep breath, resisting the urge to burst out at her,to terminate her. Was there a need for suspense? "Oh," was all I managed to say. She was slightly amused by my response. She knew I was internally panicking. USA clients were not exactly my forte. Their high expectations didn't quite sit well with me. I preferred to take it slow until it met expectations, but they... they needed deadlines to be met. Tension filled the air as Martha looked at me, hoping I'd say something that would assist her. Directives. Okay,I'll admit I never wanted to do business. I wanted to be an artist. But well, parents didn't allow it, and here I am. Best CEO of the year. I pulled out my laptop and scrolled for a suitable format of my presentation as Martha set a cup of hot fresh cup of coffee before me. I sucked up some air and began typing. All my ideas took the form of a well constructed presentation.

The sudden sound of my phone disturbed me. It was a message from Mom.

Hey dear,are you okay?

That was all... I replied that I was doing fine and that I would be home by this afternoon. As soon as it was eight ,the employees started flooding in. This was the beginning of a new day,I reminded myself that for the millionth time.

The woman I had seen last night drifted in my memories, her compelled smile, her distraught eyes, and that unexplainable pain it reflected.

The knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. "Come in," I called out. It was the secretary Jennifer. She sported a revealing red dress that accentuated her curves. She smiled flirtatiously at me."Morning Kay," she said before walking into my cabin. "Just wanted to let you know Dave called. He's gonna be showing up at one." Dave was the Brazilian investor,he had a small attraction towards Jennifer, but Jennifer's eyes were on me.

I took a deep breath, hoping it would reveal my annoyance with her over-sweet tone. But she didn't care. That was Jennifer, alright...crazy.

Well, I told you about my daily life, but that was not all that happened in my life. My life was far from normal. I had an ability....to forsee the future. Yep..it was crazy.

Mom has been paranoid ever since she found out, Dad thought it would help him in business. But they didn't know what a headache it was. My dreams were mostly nightmares of some strange nymph looking woman either in a ripped white dress or in a full ballroom gown. I never knew who she was,nor have I met her before, but one thing was certain:she needed my help. Her life wasn't the best, nor was mine. Jennifer stood in front of me, swaying her hips gently and played with her hair. "Kay,can't we go have lunch later?"she asked. I had no idea what to say. Jennifer and I dated for a month until she saw Martha and I making out. It wasn't intentional, but just that we got a bit carried away. Martha was gorgeous for a forty year old. Yes,I know. She's older than me. But I guess age never really mattered. We broke up, and ever since, she's been trying to get me back. Was I wrong not to reconcile? Maybe I was. But she was equally at fault. She kissed my business partner Jenkins. I sat down in my chair, sinking into it. "More coffee," I commanded. Jennifer left my cabin, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

The image of that woman played on my mind as I tried to focus solely on my presentation. Two more hours. Then I felt it,a small tingle, not painful rather ticklish. Another vision. This time, it was of a strong guy. He seemed annoyed as he stepped out of a room. He knocked over the glass vase on the table. Gosh,he was angry. He wore a plain black suit, but he looked intimidating. And if I wasn't mistaken, he resembled Mr. Rae,the USA client. Then she appeared, the same woman, falling to her knees begging for something. Tears streamed down her cheeks. He grabbed her by the arm, picking her up. He dragged her until the door of the house, where he shoved her out and shut the door on her face. She cried, banged on the door. Then, whoa!. I appeared and put my arms possessively over her shoulders, picking her up. I ran a thumb across her cheek, wiping her tears. I whispered something in her ear, and she smiled warmly at me.

"Kayden, dude, where are you lost?" I heard him say. It was my best friend Sam. "Nowhere,"I lied and hugged him.

My life has just been complicated
